IIT Mandi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In Masters, After completing the second semester students are eligible to take placements. Akash BYJU's, ALLEN Career and FIITJEE, Axtria, Decision Point, Amazon, And so many companies are here for hiring students. And Highest package of our class is 25 lakh per year in FIITJEET maths. And out of 45 students those who want placements are got placed(30 students) some of us want to do PhD and other things.

I choose MSc mathematics because have a huge amount of interest in mathematics from the being. The faculty-student ration is good, you don't have to worry about that. All faculty are very well qualified and have done their PhD form very well-satisfied institutes and their technical teaching is very good for every student. Exams are on time, there is no delay and the difficulty level is moderate.

After the second semester, the students become eligible for placements. And there are many companies in the IT sector and education field. Coaching and school axteria, tcs, virtusa. For different companies, there are CGPA criteria. But most companies do not have any criteria.

We have very good placement options. our CnPC cell members work very hard to get companies on campus. Almost everyone who wanted placement was placed in my batch. Others wanted to pursue higher studies. So many companies come here like Amazon, paytm, IBM, Allen, Aakash, fiitjee, Axtria, etc. Around 80-90 per cent of students get placed on avg till the completion of the course.

The placement is very good. This time Mathematics department of IIT Mandi got the highest placement among all the IITs. The average package seemed to be 10 lakhs. Even mine is 11.5 lpa CTC as a project engineer trainee.

I am still studying here but I have heard from my seniors about placements So I may be wrong. It seems to be above average. Above 90% of students were placed in this course. The highest may be around 45 LPA and the lowest was 13 lpa while the average goes around 23lpa. Top companies include Oracle, TCS, etc. Regarding internship around 78% of the course strength got into. The top roles offered were as Data Scientists, Data analysts, etc.

Students are eligible for campus placements starting from the beginning of their 4th year. However, prior to placements, students must complete their internships, which begin in their 3rd year. During the hiring season, many companies visit IIT Mandi, including major recruiters such as Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Siemens, Trilogy Innovations (Codenation), Sprinkler, and Google. Other companies, such as Oracle, Uber, Flipkart, Paytm, and Razorpay, also participate in the campus placement program. The highest package offered within India was reported to be INR 62.5 Lakhs, while international packages can reach as high as INR 2 crores. Based on statistics from the previous year, more than 95% of students were placed through on-campus or off-campus placements. After obtaining my degree, I plan to work and support my family financially. After achieving financial stability, I plan to pursue an MBA from an IIM.

The students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th sem. The companies visited are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon and Hdfc, etc. The highest CTC offered is 62lpa and the average is 19 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed depends on the branches in cse approx 100% of students get placed and in the dse 95% of students get placed and in the electrical 85% of students get placed.

Campus placements are good for you if you are in CS, DSE, or EE and want to work in the IT field. For other branches, if you want to opt for core jobs, there are very limited opportunities. Overall avg package of the college is around 20LPA.

From the start of the 5th semester companies will be coming on campus for intenships. For placements campanies come in september month for seventh semester i.e., the start of the fourth year. Students can do internships off-campus before third year as well. Almost 200 companies visit our campus for internships and placements. From CSE 99% of the students are getting placed every year. Overall its like 80% placements. Previous year highest on campus package was 48 lac. Median package for CSE was 32 lac and average package was 28 lac. Overall the average package was 20 lac. Mostly there profiles are software development role or data scientist role. All the big companies like google, microsoft, uber, sprinklr, triology, amazon, oracle, media.net, newzera, arista networks, intuit, indeed, flipkart, samsung, willings, accenture, GMO research INC, yum brands etc visit for placements and placments. Companies like google, microsoft hires just on the basis of internship for fuill time offer. So
