Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is in view of applied mathematics. I want to study applied mathematics so I joined the course. teaching methods are good. There was term exam and quizzes in gap of approx 1 month.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that provide internship opportunities TCS, and mentor MTech. There is project work in MSc curriculum mathematics. It provides better knowledge for problem-solving. Through the project we improve our skills

Placement Experience

After the second semester, the students become eligible for placements. And there are many companies in the IT sector and education field. Coaching and school axteria, tcs, virtusa. For different companies, there are CGPA criteria. But most companies do not have any criteria.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a one-time payment. There are opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance and campus placement. The name of the scholarship is mcm. You can study with low money And get the opportunity for a job

Campus Life

The annual fest was Exodia xpecto, ranneeti. There are thousands of books in the Library. The classrooms are very good. There are many groups clubs sports clubs dancing, and gaming. There are hostel games with better facilities.

Admission

The eligibility for the course, you have to qualify IIT jam entrance exam. You have seen the details on the IIT JAM site. there are benefits for admission for different categories. I think the admission process is good.

NITH at glance

Placement Experience:

Placements are mainly offered in the 4th year. Companies start to approach students in the 7th semester. Students get internship offers in 3rd year (by 5th semester). Paytm, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Qualcomm, and Samsung are major companies which come to campus for placement. But the no of companies coming for placement is not sufficient. The highest package offered is generally above 1 Cr. But the average is somewhere around 7-8 lakh per year. Most of the students in CSE and ECE are placed (MNC is a new branch so data regarding this is unavailable). Placements in other branch are not good.

IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
