Likes

The faculties are very helpful and cooperative.
Competitive Environment and accessibility of library
Boys and girls ration are approximately equal .

Dislikes

Lack of innovation. There no innovative Environment.
There is no sports facility for other than physical education even dont have ground fir paticular sports
Infrastructure and buildings need to be improve .

Course Curriculum Overview

I started this course because its strong foundation in material science electronics and astrophysics. The syllabus includes core subject ,elective,and project work that help build both theoraticle and practicle knowledge.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Its takes 8000 for subsidised categories and 70000 for non subsudis .the overall fee structure is affodable and these subsidised and non subsidised categories are based on entrace that university takes .

Campus Life

In campus we have various club and association built which focusing on to promote their culture . we have more than enough function os association in month which definately helps to socialize with others .

Admission

This college have best infrastructure than others .and include various facilities and also have tha best location among all as well.i think here is exposure that kept me selecting this which include arts ,culture,and sports etc.

Faculty

Faculty of each department is good they are very helpful and cooperative . Each two weeks we have house tests and their are various workshop that are organized and after 6 months semester exam is started

Interview Experience

Yes there is entrance exam taken by universities for particular courses . Then after that there is counsling rounds for students in merit lists . So that seats are allotted accordingly to subsidised and no subsidised candidates

Night Life

Nighlife is quite good we have cafetrias and library open late into nights .aslo we have park around hostles so that are definitely nice to hangouts with friends.and time of hostle can be late into nights for particular resons like library or for some gym enthusiastic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The students are eligible for placements in their last semester but the students are prepared for the placements in the previous semester itself.Many companies visit the campus for placements but only a few get core jobs rest get placed in marketing and sales.Most of the students go for PHDs in India as well as abroad.

Placement Experience:

Placements are mainly offered in the 4th year. Companies start to approach students in the 7th semester. Students get internship offers in 3rd year (by 5th semester). Paytm, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Qualcomm, and Samsung are major companies which come to campus for placement. But the no of companies coming for placement is not sufficient. The highest package offered is generally above 1 Cr. But the average is somewhere around 7-8 lakh per year. Most of the students in CSE and ECE are placed (MNC is a new branch so data regarding this is unavailable). Placements in other branch are not good.

It's totally the best 2 years of my college life

Admission:

I did my bachelor's from shoolini institute, solan which is also a part of this university. So I always wanted to do my masters from shooliniUniversity so this took me here. So I opted for this course because after completing 12th I don't know what to do further so my biology teacher told me to opt this. That's why I opted for and completed my studies in this course.

Remarks:

Many things are in university supportive.j just like pleasant environment and situated at national highway. Staff is also good. But no big playground.labs with less equipment are also weakness of university.
