Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fee depends on the category- general, sc obc, st. The hostel and mess fee together are of minimal cost around 24000. For the tuition fee, there are various scholarships to help the students. Some of them are the merit cum means for gen/obs, Kotak kanya for first-year girls etc. You can also opt to become a teaching assistant in any course, you will be provided the stipend too.

IIT Mandi's Engineering Physics program is a highly respected program in India. The Engineering Physics program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in physics, as well as the ability to apply that knowledge to the engineering field. It acts as a bridge between pure science and traditional engineering disciplines. In today’s highly technical era, it’s crucial to inculcate both scientific and technological aspects, and the EP program is here to do so.

Curriculum:

The curriculum for EP at IIT Mandi introduces students to a wide variety of fields in pure as well as applied Physics.

The core courses cover fundamentals of Physics, such as Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics and Condensed Matter Physics in addition to core courses in Mathematics and Engineering.
You are also offered a plethora of elective courses in Physics to provide good exposure in various directions in both theoretical and Applied Physics.
Additionally, a number of courses in diverse branches of science and engineering, along with humanities and social sciences, are also available.

All of the options you've mentioned are reputable institutions with strong programs in their respective fields. However, the best choice for you will depend on your individual interests, goals, and priorities.

The branches CSE, Electronics, and MNC(Math and Computing) offer better job opportunities with higher packages in comparison to other branches. Thus if you are in desperate need of a job, these branches will serve you best.
Mechanical Engineering is a branch best suited for those targeting a government job. This branch too has decent job opportunities considering the fact that India sets up more manufacturing sectors under Make in India initiative.
Engineering Physics is a core branch that has little to offer in terms of exposure and opportunities. I won’t suggest you go for this unless you are extremely passionate about Physics. You can take it if you are planning a branch change if you want to clear UPSC CSE.

Lastly, my suggestion would be to target top NITs instead and not go for a mediocre branch. Additionally, you may want to reach out to current students or alumni of each institution to get a sense of their experiences.
