Placement Experience:

Every possible big name that one knows like be it Nestle, HUL, Emami or the rest, we had them at our campus for placements. Firstly our batch was small and we were also given preference in the process and therefore just like everyone else from our batch, I also got placed as well.

Student Snaps:

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance, our courses are taken directly from ivy leagues and some courses from Delhi Univeristy as well. That clearly proves the relevance. They have added skill courses as well as the emerging AI, that shows how they take care of the relevance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose JSAA was the dynamic curriculum they offered. After the first year, students design their own timetable and choose the courses they want to take based on their interests. They can also take courses from other schools such as law, business, etc. and even opt for a minor in those schools. Also, the classes we take have a mixture of students from different years and courses so there is a lot you can learn from each other as well as the faculty. JSAA offers a highly flexible and well-rounded curriculum which prepares us for the real world in a way that all students develop their own unique skillset which helps them find jobs. I can't think of anything which needs improvement in terms of the curriculum. As for exams, JSAA only has exams at the end of the semester and they are not that difficult given that you actually prepare for it.

Placements are done on yiur eligibilties , you are required ro complete almost min 6 to 8 internships that are added credits to your course and you can discuss the same with the department for all this we have a seperate department for the same in the college you can approacb them during office hours too. Almost all students get placements if they take initiative for the same . After getting the degree with the help of the college I am getting now I would appear for upsc.

I think students become available for campus placements during their last or second last year at the university. It is not that easy to find a job post graduation if you do not take the help of placements

I will most probably shift to UAE after college to gain work experience as I already have family there and talking about the placements that my uni provides, it has tie ups with amazing companies all over India so I don't think it'll be difficult to find a job after.
