Likes

Accomodation and the way they maintain mess and the respective classrooms
Celebrations and festivals which will be conduct by the students
Sports and extra curricular activities , there are many sports arena, which help student to relax and gain peaceful mind

Dislikes

Over crowded, because of the population of the college
College will be crowded by couples, many people will fall in love and then it will affect the other students who were studying there
I hate the Chinese and Korean foods in mess, as I'm not common with those food items

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is so perfect, as I'm a UPSC aspirant, this course curriculum helps me to complete my UPSC syllabus quite possible. The professors here, help us to pursue more marks, by helping us by teaching.

Yes, internship opportunities are available in JGU. There is a specific office service which is mentioned a the Office of career guidance/service) OCS. This office will help the student to select their own internship offers.

Placement Experience

I think placements are available according to the specific courses you people choose. JGU provides many placements offers and internship offers and it helps the student to pursue something good and great which will make the students life even better.

Fees and Financial Aid

The BA. (Hons.) Political science programme at the Jindal School of International Affairs application fee will be rs.3000, the Programm fee will be rs. 3,50,000 and the residential fee will be rs.2,92,500

Campus Life

Campus Life is super great. There are many societies and clubs which will be conducted by the students. In JGU , students will take all the responsibilities to develop their learning skill and management skill etc.

Hostel Facilities

Accomodation is great. There will be separate hostel facility for girls and boys. Mess food is comprised as south, north, Chinese and Korean fusions available. Water and electricity facilities were great .

Admission

I failed in CUET examination so I couldn't get the opportunity to join in Government colleges, so I started looking for private colleges. JGU is the 1st private college in India with proper accomodation and academic opportunities.

Faculty

Professors in JGU , were too friendly and helpfull. They will clear our doubts whenever we asked for. They help us in preparing for other competitive exams. Exams will be depend on the particular courses.

Night Life

JGU meant for night life. There will be many concerts which will be conducted on Biswamil(annual day) and Magnus (sports day). There were gym, and many cafeterias, 5 libraries, and public hangout areas available

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

Remarks:

A well developed basketball court is being provided by the college so that boys and girls can freely and actively play and refresh their minds.It is a huge court .Students love to play here as it is the most fascinating sport.Boys and girls are given equal privileges in respect to the court.

JSAT is mandatory to get admission in JGU. For Arts courses be if Economics, Political Science or any others, one also has to clear the interview rounds as well. So admission may take a while before you are confirmed for admission. JGU can make anyone jealous!!

I got confirm admission only from MNLU Nagpur but our college JGLS is much better than it in many sense. JGU is an event hosting place!!

Ashoka University again and also MCC Bangalore as these are some of th colleges that offers this particular course. I think did best by ditching the rest two as MCC may be an old college but JGU still I feel is the best out of all. JGU is one hell of a place!!

I had admissions at Ashoka University which is also in Sonepat. I gave JSAt and since I had confirmed admission from both, I looked at the other aspects of both the universities. Ashoka definitely more premium but is a relatively new university while ours has a pedigree of its own. Also the fees structure as Ashoka University fees was 25 lakhs a year while at JGU it's 6 lakhs a year....Read More

O.P. Jindal University is Supreme!!

JSAT is mandatory and only 60 seats for our course which is divided in 2 sections. I have given the same and cleared the same. The entrance is little tough and fees for the entrance is 12000.
