JGU is delightful place!!

Likes

JGU Campus can match any international campus as it is that kind of a campus.
We have a sports stadium inside the university and nearly 20 sports facilities are included within.
Campus offers a splendid night life as well as students here can be seen roaming at the campus till 2 am as it is new normal here.

Dislikes

Most students here are not so serious about studies here as they are rich brats.
Intenrships we still have to find on our own as college doesn't provide from their end.

Admission:

JSAT is mandatory to get admission in JGU. For Arts courses be if Economics, Political Science or any others, one also has to clear the interview rounds as well. So admission may take a while before you are confirmed for admission. I also applied to Graphic Era University for some other course and I had admissions there but when youbare qualified for Jindal who cares as JGU was always my first and only choice.

SSIPMT Raipur is good enough!!

Likes

Our college hosts events in which top politicians of state and centre gives visits.
Since our college is owned by a business tycoon, we also get various connections from our university.
We also have a startup incubation centre at our university and some startups have been given grants and provides funding as well.

Dislikes

Mostly all rich kids so talk is more or less about wealth at our college instead of academics.

Admission:

I applied at JEE Mains and even BITS, Comed K and almost every possible entrance available. I got this college through JEE Counselling and I made this choice as I didn't had to leave my city because the colleges I was getting I felt this much adaptability and capable SSPIMT will make me.

JGU can make anyone jealous!!

Likes

Law department is entirely different here as we have our own fests and activities better than overall events of the university.
National and International level moots are organized at our college and even NLU students come and participate in our college.
Personal development at JGU is such as we get experience judges and all to come and teach us.

Dislikes

The fees is a little high as we pay 6-7 times of what NLU students pay.

Admission:

I got confirm admission only from MNLU Nagpur but our college JGLS is much better than it in many sense. Yes, the fees is high but JSAT which is mandatory to get admission here is what I cleared and secured much needed admission here after rejecting a lot of colleges like the VIPs and ICFAI.

JGU is an event hosting place!!

Firstly because it's a premium university the quality of students is such that one easily stand them as there are no creepsters.
Placements are just like our cours and they are also global.
Our course teaches us various global traits which otherwise wouldn't have been possible.

Dislikes

For sure it's the notorious culture which some students have brought in by being non serious and non attentive during the classes.

Admission:

Ashoka University again and also MCC Bangalore as these are some of th colleges that offers this particular course. I think did best by ditching the rest two as MCC may be an old college but JGU still I feel is the best out of all. Entrance and interviews are mandatory as there are just 70 seats in all for our course.

JGU is one hell of a place!!

Likes

80 acres of campus with a night view and night life which is unimaginable at a college campus atleast.
Four blocks of same kind of girls hostel with facilities such as AC, charging stations, indoor games room and laundary service.
Our course has the smallest batch and was arguably the best.

Dislikes

Everything inside the campus is quite expensive be it canteens or the stationary stuff.

Admission:

I had admissions at Ashoka University which is also in Sonepat. I gave JSAt and since I had confirmed admission from both, I looked at the other aspects of both the universities. Ashoka definitely more premium but is a relatively new university while ours has a pedigree of its own. Also the fees structure as Ashoka University fees was 25 lakhs a year while at JGU it's 6 lakhs a year.

O.P. Jindal University is Supreme!!

Likes

We have a students body at our college and it looks after us really well.
All students here are from affluent families and therefore we see most of them are aspiring.
Our fests are superb and one that can give goosebumps to even DU colleges.

Dislikes

Results are quite tough as to clear exams here is very tough indeed.

JSAT is mandatory and only 60 seats for our course which is divided in 2 sections. I have given the same and cleared the same. The entrance is little tough and fees for the entrance is 12000. I also gave a few more entrances but since I got call from OP Jindal, i dumped the rest of the colleges.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

I loved the quality and speed of services at JGU. If I put up a complaint for my AC or even shower or anything related to room servicing or cleaning
The campus life is one of the best any indian university offers. People there are very social and great, faculty is very open and cooperative
The campus resources are the best one can find. The sports complex is at the pinnacle of sports services in India, the faculty is from top universities

Dislikes

Sometimes working in fests and societies is totally based on hierarchy and nepotism.
Rules and regulations around substances are very strict.

I applied to multiple other universities as well, but I chose JGU because the university has top-notch faculty from abroad as well who hold PHDs from highly reputable universities. Most of my professors had PHDs from IITs and NIMHANS. JGU is very well known for it's global partnerships and study abroad programs, which make it a highly networked university as well. The campus is very secure and vibrant, which attracted me to it. Admission to JGU is not very difficult and can be achieved by most students. JGU offers fine study programs from qualified faculty, the campus is at the peak of Indian Universities, and the eligibility is not that high.

Admission:

I only applied to one college, but I can talk about the addmission process, which was actually smooth. There was always a person who assisted me through the process and helped me whenever I needed some assistance. The level of entrance exam was a little high as it has logical reasoning and english test and many more which if you didn't study, you won't be able to answer the questions.
