JGU is one hell of a place!!

Likes

80 acres of campus with a night view and night life which is unimaginable at a college campus atleast.
Four blocks of same kind of girls hostel with facilities such as AC, charging stations, indoor games room and laundary service.
Our course has the smallest batch and was arguably the best.

Dislikes

Everything inside the campus is quite expensive be it canteens or the stationary stuff.

Placement Experience:

Every possible big name that one knows like be it Nestle, HUL, Emami or the rest, we had them at our campus for placements. Firstly our batch was small and we were also given preference in the process and therefore just like everyone else from our batch, I also got placed as well.

O.P. Jindal University is Supreme!!

Likes

We have a students body at our college and it looks after us really well.
All students here are from affluent families and therefore we see most of them are aspiring.
Our fests are superb and one that can give goosebumps to even DU colleges.

Dislikes

Results are quite tough as to clear exams here is very tough indeed.

Both the things be it placements or the internships, they are top class. Since our course was related to Financial Markets, companies like Axis Capital, Reliance Mutual Funds and likewise the companies that deals in security markets were the ones that have us jobs. Average placements of B.Com in Financial Markets were around 5 lakhs.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Likes

I loved the quality and speed of services at JGU. If I put up a complaint for my AC or even shower or anything related to room servicing or cleaning
The campus life is one of the best any indian university offers. People there are very social and great, faculty is very open and cooperative
The campus resources are the best one can find. The sports complex is at the pinnacle of sports services in India, the faculty is from top universities

Dislikes

Sometimes working in fests and societies is totally based on hierarchy and nepotism.
Rules and regulations around substances are very strict.

The internships I got from the university were either at NGOs or, counselling clinics or at HR in reliable firms. The internship opportunities were very good, and they taught us a lot in the practical application domain of what we were studying. The counselling firms often asked us to summarise case studies, form valuable therapy plans, observe sessions, etc. The NGO i worked in focused on children with special needs so I learned a lot about handling children with Neurodiverse needs.

I REALLY LIKE THE CAMPUS AND ITS BUILD SO BEAUTIFUL

THE VARIOUS COURSES OFFERED IS REALLY AMAZING I WAS ABLE TO STUDY SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS

HOW THE DEADLINES ARE GIVEN SO CONJUSTED
THE WAY COURSES ARE STURCTRED AS WHAT WE SHOULD LEARN IN FIRST YEAR LEARNING THAT IN OUR THRID YEAR

i was able to 5 internships which through ocs which is our internship and placement cell. i was able to do research internship along with i was i able to learn alot and then i was able to do internship reagarding clincal psychology which help me to gain alot of theoretical knowledge .

Review of Online MBA from O P Jindal Global University.

Likes

It was affordable and there payment system is very good we can also apply for EMI that is also low cost.
There teaching system is also good faculty is good and they also provide recorded classes with live classes
There faculty is very helpful even if it was an online program i didnt face any kind of miscommunication.

Dislikes

the duration of each semister is very short so it become difficult to complete the syllabus

Internships Opportunities:

i was in the online batch so i didnt get that much opportunities still i get internships from upgrad, icici bank, genpect companies with stoipen of 5000-6000-4000 pm. offline students gets molre opportumities.

Likes

Great exposure and excellent networking opportunities
Experienced faculty and supportive administration
Great infrastructure with lush green campus and well equipped hostels

Dislikes

Slightly higher fees which can't be afforded by everyone
Slightly language issue for people who are little weak in English
Clubbing and party culture is common at all times.

Internships Opportunities:

OCS department provides internship opportunities to all students during semester break. Top companies hire students for interships and then communicate their performances with the OCS department regularly

Honest review of Jindal Global University

Likes

Huge campus and sports, various fests including huge artists coming in to perform
Nice hostel rooms and friends with attached washrooms
academics from the best professors, they all have done PHDs from the best and have years of experience before joining jindal, got some amazing advise from them

Dislikes

Campus gets boring and lonely, sometimes just feel very homesick and dead
You feel very alone sometimes, like campus gets little toxic
Its very crowded at times, like too many people

Internships Opportunities:

They provide internships through superset, an app. They are not very good and the reach is bad. People usually don't take it very seriously and just find internships on their own. We require 4 internships of minimum 28 days to get our degree.

Highly qualified faculty with the minimum qualification to be a professor being having completed the degrees from prestigious foreign universities
Flexible class schedule which does not mentally tax the students and provides them time to focus on themselves as well as the college
Appreciable infrastructure with a dedicated 5 storey building for food and 5 storey huge academic block for studies,big library ,ample space for all sports ,swimming pool being built,moot court etc

Dislikes

Intimacy amongst students rampant in open
Too many holidays,the college is closed 4 months of the year hence lesser value for money
Adjustment problems for many people coming from places with different cultural backgrounds

Ocs provides internship opportunities on which you can register and avail it. Internship for bals is 4 times out of 6 sems.The person has to prepare an Internship report at the end and submit it to ocs stating what has the student learned from the internship,his experience and so on

The girl to boy ratio is perfect not exceeding in any of the genders.

Internships Opportunities:

the internships was through the placement cell of the college only. they asked me to do legal research which gives me a lot of experience for my course and helps me build my cv. the interview process was really easy too.
