Likes
- Really good crowd. You’ll mostly associate yourself with the kind of people who belong to your financial background. So it isn’t difficult to make friends
- Great professors. Almost all of my professors are phd graduates that too from Ivy League universities. They have great experience in their respective fields too.
- Infrastructure is amazing. You are provided with almost everything you need. There is every sport available to you. Sports fields are huge. Hostel life is easy. Libraries are spacious and multiple in number.
Dislikes
- Alcohol and drugs supply is quite huge here which can destroy your college life
- Can be a disadvantage for the people who don’t come from the equal financial background as most Jindal students. Can be depressing for them
- I hate the fact that we have to get our gate pass approved each time we want to go out.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is extremely relevant as I'm getting to study corporate communications and public affairs. And by each year passing by we get to know how important marketing is and how big it will be in the coming few years. It's interesting to learn about all business tactics that happen behind the cameras
Internships Opportunities
Our uni provides internships through an organisation called ocs. You put in your resume in that site and they figure out internships and interviews for you. It is quite easy. And you need to do two internships every year. In summer and winter breaks.
Placement Experience
I will most probably shift to UAE after college to gain work experience as I already have family there and talking about the placements that my uni provides, it has tie ups with amazing companies all over India so I don't think it'll be difficult to find a job after.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year - wise fees that I pay is about :- ?6,54,500. Tuition fees is :- ?1,75,000 and hostel/meals fees is :- ?1,52,250. Registration amount was about :- ?3500. This is the amount I had to pay without any scholarships and any caste Kota as my caste category is general. And Ofcourse the fee structure fluctuates between different courses. Law students almost have to pay about :- ?1100000 on a yearly basis and it differs course to course. I'm not really sure about the scholarship program cause I didn't opt for it but our university provides internships for us.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is great. There's greenery all around. Our college is prolly the biggest in the country. We have multiple food outlets. Clubbing is fun with friends. Course is amazing. Rooms are spacious. Everything is great.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel provides everything to us. We really don't need to do anything by ourselves. There is laundry service, housekeeping and you are also provides with sick meals to your room whenever it is needed. It is a 3 bed sharing room with good enough space to walk around. Each student gets their own desk, cupboard and Almirah.
Admission
I chose this college over other universities cause my friends were also applying to this college. It's close to my home so I can go back whenever I want. My college provides amazing study abroad opportunities which I would love to try.
Faculty
Faculty members are amazing. Almost all of my professors are Ivy League university graduates with each having great experience in their respective industries. We work with actual doctors and directors here
