Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.

Internships Opportunities

4

i was able to 5 internships which through ocs which is our internship and placement cell. i was able to do research internship along with i was i able to learn alot and then i was able to do internship reagarding clincal psychology which help me to gain alot of theoretical knowledge .

Fees and Financial Aid

the course fee is charged semester wise with each semester costing around 3.5 lakhs totaling approximately ruppees 7 lakhs per year. there is a merit based scholarships as well which varies from 25% to 100 % tution. there is a fee waiver as well for the ST/SCS. Fees have been gradually increased every year along the fees have increased for the new batches as well.

Campus Life

4

the name of the annual fest is BISWAMIL tipically in october. This fest is one of most fest which actually lighten up whole jindal and make that campus feel like diwali and there is always a wait for one artist last time is mohit chouhan and it was amazing best time of the year in jindal.

Hostel Facilities

3

all the hostel rooms are inside the campus and it is actally good as it provide safety and oppotunity to experence the night life of jindal . if we talk about the food we had so much variety of food options in our mess that we can even get enough of them to taste all the food at once and we have our food court which our night faviourate to go to.

Admission

I only applied to one college, but I can talk about the addmission process, which was actually smooth. There was always a person who assisted me through the process and helped me whenever I needed some assistance. The level of entrance exam was a little high as it has logical reasoning and english test and many more which if you didn't study, you won't be able to answer the questions.

Faculty

4

faculty to student ratio is quite good as every student have faculty advisor whom we as students can ask questions about the course or can ask for help in different aspect of life as well. I love all the faculty as from i have studied all very good and helped me in difficult times . there are few which i dont like but can not name then du to personal reasons. if we talk about exams it depends but they vary from easy to medium level of difficulty but sometimes they are hard as well.

Night Life

5

usvually all the things food realated get shut down by 2am in the night as people to night student or late night snack. There are no hostel timings as the hostel is inside the campus but there are slient hours which ae from 10pm to 5am. if we talk about campus timings the out time we need a gate pass apporved by the parents as bachelors student but for post grad students there is no gate pass approval system but they still need to generate a gate pass through a portal jindal recently introduced before that we used to get our gate made and apporved on app called TOU . There are multiple places to hangout there is literally called a place called hangout where people usually make birthdays as t night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Its my dream course, so i took and i got in the greatest college. I was an average student at my schools, so i got to this college very easily on quota. I love the teaching methods as its a great hall with 70+ students sitting semi circle. As it is the pandemic situation, the classes are now online, there would me online classes scheduled every day. I had to have more marks in english in 12 and i had it. There were normal exams evey week, but it was tough enough.
