Babu Madhav Institute of Technology Admission 2024
- Application forms for admission are available online.
- Candidates need to apply for admission directly through the Uka university website.
- To take admission in B.Sc or Integrated M.Sc program, a Senior Secondary Certificate in any discipline is required.
- The merit list is then published on the website.
How to Apply?
Admission is strictly merit-based and candidates need to abide by all counseling instructions and should provide all documents to successfully enroll in a program of the institute. There are 30 seats for B.Sc (IT) and 120 seats for the Integrated M.sc program.
- Students should click on the admission portal on the website of Uka Tarsadia University.
- Then click on the apply online forms.
- Choose the Babu Madhav Institute of Technology for admission.
- Fill up the required details.
- Attach photographs and signature in the application form.
- Then pay application form fees of INR 500.
- A print out can be taken for reference in the future.

There is a placement team present on the campus that drives students into the placement and looks for job opportunities to provide them to students. It helps students in training, skill enhancement, and invites various potential recruiters to come to the institute to recruit students.
- The placement drive is successfully conducted in the past years and placements stats are improving every year.
- As many as 46 students were placed in different companies in 2018-19 and in the placement session in 2017-18, 35 students successfully got job opportunities directly from the college.
Some of the recruiters who came on the campus in 2018-19 included Algorhythm Pvt ltd, Mistry Caliente Itech, Tokyo Techie Pvt. Ltd., Differenz System Pvt Ltd. whereas in 2017-18 recruiters included Lanet team, Trueline solutions, SSM Infotech, Pixeta app lab, Swarnim Touch Solution Limited, etc.

Following are the scholarships provided by the institute to deserving and meritorious students:
- Shri B.U Patel Scholarship: It is provided to economically backward candidates to pursue bachelor and postgraduate degrees. To be eligible for this scholarship the income of parents should be less than 2 lacs per annum. Candidates should pass the examination in 1st division in the first attempt.
- B. Research Scholarship scheme: This scholarship is provided to the students for performing their research project in computer science, applied science and engineering. For a minor project, INR 25,000 is provided and for the major project, INR 100000 is provided to students to carry out their research prospects.
- Alumni Association Scholarship: This scholarship is funded by the rich alumni base of the institute. It helps students to carry out their dreams by assisting them financially.

BMIIT has been created revolving around the facilities of the students along with the curriculum. The campus is lush green with pleasant surroundings and yet closely connected to the urban areas. Right from screen presentation facilities, lifts, wide walkways, to sports and cultural events, BMIIT takes care of providing a whole sphere of offerings for all-round development of the students.
- Classrooms: All classrooms are equipped with a projector and an internet facility is available in all classrooms.
- Advanced Laboratories: Air-conditioned Laboratories in the college equipped with around 200 high configuration computers and audio-visual tools that help in the enhancement of knowledge. The computers are maintained to the upgraded versions and are installed with legitimate operating systems and all requisite software.
- Research and Development: There is a very good facility for research and development work in the Institute. 70% of the review paper is published/under review/presented in International journals by the students of the Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview:
This is a 2 year post graduate programme dedicated to providing knowledge of programming, implementation of common data structures. The course covers in dept analysis softwares, various computer languages and much more. The course includes lots of company visits, assignments, projects, seminars, conferences and researches. Overall the course is chill and interesting for students those have interest in technology and computers.

The course curriculum comprises of two years. In these two years we?e give two semester exams in each year. So in all there is a total of four semesters in two years. We are also required to do internships in our field. Such internships are not only for the fetching of good stipend but for the inculcation of practical knowledge about the field which is information technology. After the exams are over, various companies come for the placement purpose.

A BSC(IT) degree course has a cumulative length of 3 years. The academic session is divided into three levels, each year we give 2 semester exams. The course curriculum program is intended to familiarize students with usage of science in information technology field. As part of the course curriculum, BSC(IT) give complete knowledge about science and modern computers. Course curriculum is totally amazing. The course is structured to give students proper theoretical knowledge of all topics, followed by practical knowledge for the same.
