Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the course is five years. The course covers the basics like the computer languages JAVA, Python to life learning subjects such as Professional Communication. We have two semesters in a year. We have to write semester external examinations every six months.
Placement Experience
The placement team in the college arranges placement drives every year. They invite many IT companies to the campus such as SecureMetaSys, Escrow Info Tech, Golden Mace, La Net Team Software Solutions, Leocan Technologies, Smart Infosys, and so on. They also arrange the expertise team sessions to make us understand the industry standards and requirements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I am in my third year of the course, I have paid around Rs.1,03,000/- every year. This does not include the hostel accommodation. I did not choose the hostel facilities as I am pretty much near the college and can commute by my bike. I paid every semester around Rs. 50,000/-.
Campus Life
We do not have any sports clubs in particular. But we do have NSS on the campus. As a member of NSS, we have conducted various camps such as Thalassemia Check up camp, Blood donation camp and so on. Also, the college has sufficient labs with computers that are in good condition.
Admission
Numbers, coding, Technology have always been driving enthusiasm since middle school. I decided to continue my higher education in Information Technology. I found online that Babu Madhav Institute of Information Technology Uka Tarsadia University is solely committed to offer studies on Information Technology. I applied for the Integrated course M.Sc. IT. The minimum requirement was to complete the 10th and 12th grade with decent scores.
Faculty
The faculty members of the department are highly qualified and expertised in the IT field. The college also has the Research Department where every faculty is required to present and publish research papers. This really helps them and makes them stick to the current trends and technologies in the IT field. This in turn helps us to gain adequate knowledge on the subjects.
