Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the Integrated course was five years. The course curriculum of the college covered almost every aspect of IT, right from the basic computer languages such as JAVA to the latest information on the field of IoT. We followed the regular semester structure. We had ten semesters on the whole of five years of the course.
Placement Experience
The college invited a large group of companies to the campus. They had a visit of many IT companies such as Smart Infosys, Sparkle Infotech, Trueline Solutions, Webzeel Services, Caliente ITech, Digitattva Technolabs, Leocan Technologies, Creative Kshetra and so on. Many students get placed every year in IT companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I had to pay the fee every semester, that is every six months. I paid around one lakh every year and paid around Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 55,000/- every semester. This does not include the hostel fee. I did not opt for the hostel as I can commute to the college every day from my house.
Campus Life
The college is mainly for the Information Technology studies, so that they had sufficient number computer labs for the students. The labs are fully equipped with the good working computers with the latest version of Operating Systems. We didn't have anything particular clubs for sports and other activities.
Admission
I have always had a great passion for technology and computers. I decided to pursue my career in Information Technology. I searched online for the best course to develop my knowledge and bright future in IT. I found out about the Integrated Course B.Sc + M.Sc in Information Technology from Babu Madhav Institute of Information Technology Uka Tarsadia University. I applied for the course. I was required to pass secondary school education with a decent percentage of marks.
Faculty
The faculty of the department were friendly and easily approachable. They were not in any way lesser when it comes to the subject expertise. They maintained dignity and care for the students. The department had Associate Processors and Assistant Professors to teach us better in every way possible.
