Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course economics is worth doing from jindal specially because of the overall opportunities uou get to explore and above everything its worth it because of the faculty no faculty would be that involved unlike what you will find in jindal . The curriculum is so intersting and you will start enjoying it specially from second semester onwards.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are varied internships including that from ngos government oganisations and even big MNCs tgat sometimes even come to college to select and pick out their options. The tasks can be basic to extreme with skills and experiences required at school or college level depending upon which field you apply for.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are done on yiur eligibilties , you are required ro complete almost min 6 to 8 internships that are added credits to your course and you can discuss the same with the department for all this we have a seperate department for the same in the college you can approacb them during office hours too. Almost all students get placements if they take initiative for the same . After getting the degree with the help of the college I am getting now I would appear for upsc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester is 4 months long. The degree I am pursuing has 8 semesters . Each semester's tution fees is 1,15,000 and hostel fees is 1,75,000 and I get a scholarship of 20% on tution fees. The admission fees is 1,00,000 other charges are my spendings on daily basis.

Campus Life

5

There are a lot of things you can apply for they have a lot of clubs and socities their list wont end but your choices will and all socities are worth it because of the international exposure they provide. Student life is amazing for we have a lot of stuff to do on campus from sports to everything.

Admission

I applied for Delhi university bht apparently did not get into the top ones but my friends and others who had quotas and privileges did get into one , I did get a college in du but was not sure if I would just want to do for the sake of getting The DU name on my degree and other things considered what remains is just the hype and I applied to other universities but jindal sets itself apart for its facilities and faculty they are super super good so ended up here but so far a great experience considering the connections that I am getting exposed to here. My admission procedure was simple and I was assisted throughout by one of their faculty members each student is assisted by one and the process went smooth with all the form filling and a lot of stuff that you can clarify and get details from the admission department even online . The eligibility critvaries course to course and so does the exam they accept . Overall experience from the admission procedure uptil know was super good with continued assistance and help that was a major factor that helped a lot!

Faculty

5

Faculty student ratio is 1:7 I suppose as last I saw , faculty is always on call they are always available and very approachable , all of them make efforts to gel up with the kids well that helps in the early phase specially when you are all new and dont know anyone and homesick above everything because you have not found your people.

Night Life

5

The nightlife is never ending , people pull up all jighters here because the campus is so beautiful you end up just walking with your friends and exploring all possible places in jindal and also all outlets for food open up till 1 and till 4 during exams so its really fun , you can also enjoy some matches at times because most of them happen during late eveings , overall night life at jindal is like no other college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
