Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Likes

Nice infrastructure.Mostly required facilities available.
Vey Green campus. You are easily able to see different varieties of birds and trees
Sports facilities and swimming pool are nice. Open air theater (oat) is amazing

Dislikes

Mostly Technical societies are less productive
More workshop and seminars on skills in college.
Little bit of connectivity problem in starting but now it's habitual

Placement Experience:

Campus placement takes place 7th sem onwards i.e. in 4th year. Mostly all reputed companies visit the campus. The highest package is 52 lakh and the average is 11 lakhs. The percentage of placement depends on the branch but overall it is 70%. Most probably I will opt for a on-campus placement.

best peer group: being among the brilliant minds of india motivates you to do extraordinary things
large campus area to roam around anywhere with a lush greenery
best campus placements with highest being 125lpa and lowest being 9lpa

Dislikes

hostel food can be improvised with some different menu being selected.

Placements are excellent in this college. The highest package this year was 125lpa and the average was 9 lpa. You become eligible for placements for 6 semesters. every year around 100+ companies visit the campus. Each year around 80% of students get placed.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 8th semester, before which they can do internships for a period of 6 months. Top companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Accenture, Flipkart, and Amazon visited the college. Around 150 offers were made to 124 students in the Electronics department in the year 2021-2022 . The highest package was 1.25 cr/annum in the college, and for the ECE branch, it was 50 lpa. The average package for ece was 17.12 lpa, and the whole average was 13.89 lpa. The high packages were offered for full-stack developers and data analysts, scientists. A total of 82.72 per cent of students got placed successfully on campus. My plan is to work as a data scientist and run a startup based on it. I think my college has the facilities which can avail me of these career opportunities.

olympic size swimming poll to enjoy with your friends
A lake inside nitk campus to explore with your friends.

I wish it will be in a city rather than a village

If you are from CS you will get an 18 - 19 lakh package easily . but if you want greater you have to cram full programming and then easily to get it. in CS there is 100% placement. Around 250 - 300 companies come every year

Likes

Very good campus life and also good hostel life.
Infrastructure is very beautiful and sports complex.
Teachers are very good and very supportive.

Aministration department is very rude . i do not like it.

There is no almost no pollution in my college there re soo much clubs you can participate in any of your choice

The grading system of the college is not good.

The course curriculum is good Nd placement oriented and the facility is excellent and classes are just for formality in some cases exams are conducted over a regular period of 2 months and after the end-sems are conducted

Campus Life is really good in the college.
Sports facilities are also good specially swimming pool and badminton court.
Hostels are equipped with all facilities.

Dislikes

Transportation to the college is not good.
Administrative facilities are sluggish and not well managed.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are started in 7th semester. All big companies visit for placements like Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Tata power, Maruti Suzuki, HUL etc. The average package for IT companies is 800000 and for non-IT it is 500000. Around 70-80% students get placement offers.

After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. The highest package for the year 2022 is 1.23 crore. Almost 89% of student gets placed every year. Many students plan to do a job after their degree while some are interested in startups.

NIT Kurukshetra Experience till 3rd year, still more to explore.

Likes

Clubs really help to improve in social skills and your interest in the thing for which you joined the club.
The availability of single hostel rooms.
Library issues the book whichever you want , one does not have to buy them.

Dislikes

The fee structure, even in the semester of training.
The hostel applies fine to every student for a single person's mistake.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placements are good, the average package got higher in top branches. The students become eligible for the placements in the 7th semester and not all but many top companies visit the campus like Google and Microsoft. Last year the placements were very good, In the CS department every student got placed, and in my course, about 93% got placed with a median package of 14LPA.

A brief review of our college

Likes

The campus is isolated from outer world so..
There is no non-veg available in campus area
Roi is high as compared from other college

Dislikes

No one is allowed to enter clg after 8:30 pm
No sport's coaches are available in college
It's infrastructure is very poor as compared to other college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was getting only this course at my rank. The student-faculty ratio is about 1:8, you can find so many Ph.D. Holders taking tutorials classes formally. All the faculties here are Ph.D. holders and one of the best in their field and most of them have done Ph.D. from REC Kurukshetra (NIT KKR) Itself, especially the old ones. Their teaching method is not so modern but very classy, Term exams are held on a uniform basis every month we can say. As there is a semester of 4-5 months, you have to give 2 Mid-semester exams and One end sem exam and the overall CGPA depends on both of these scores. You can easily pass the exam but for scoring well you have to study hard because they didn't give you marks but will pass easily.

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.
You can make a lot of friends but make sure to choose wisely for your well-being
The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The college is well equipped and has good infrastructure. The students have access to playgrounds, swimming pools, etc

Academics at NIT Kurukshetra

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.
This institute has an amazing library with a rich collection of books and periodicals
The faculty support is commendable here and this institute has an abundant alumni network
The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
