Visit to NIT kurukshetra

According to my jee mains and rank I got this college. In this college, there is a ratio of 1:12 of faculty and students. All the faculty who are teaching are professors and associate processors. Their teaching style is average. Some professors are good but some are average. In each semester there is 3 exam of which 2 are mid-semester and one is the end-semester examination. There are two sem of 20 marks for each subject and the time limit is 50 minutes. The end semester exam is of 50 marks and 3 hours are provided to solve the paper. Passing the examination is not difficult you can get a good cgpa by normal preparation. Some subjects are completed by regularly attending the classes but some subjects can't be understood in class due to faculty problems. They have lots of knowledge but they are unable to express it in front of students. To achieve good results you have to do your own preparation. The semester exam does not require a lot of effort like cracking Jee. You can easily get good cgpa. I will rate 8 on my course

There are various internship opportunities available in the college Various companies visit for on-campus internships. the no. Of companies visiting are reduced per year. I can sit for on campus internship in my third year. But I am trying to get an internship in my 2nd year off campus.

The placement of my college is good. Many companies visit for campus placement. The student is eligible for campus placement from their 7th semester .previous year there was the highest package of 66 lakh ctc and an average of 19.5 lakh from my college. In my branch, there is the highest of 40lakh ctc and average of 9.5 lakh. In tech branches, there is nearly 100% placement. In my branch, there is a placement of 60-70 % students.

The fee structure of my college is taken by seeing various criteria.Like the caste category and income category. Sc,ST students get the full remission on their Tuition fee irrespective of their income criteria nd General, obc get fee remission on the tuition fee as per their income group. Incomes more than 5 lakh get 0 fee remission, and family income between 1 lakh to 5 lahks get 2/3 of their tuition fee remission. and those below 1 lakh get full fee remission on tuition fees. The tuition fees of students is 62500 per semester and there is a 2/3 remission which is 41666 for income b/w 1 to 5 lakh students. Currently, I am in the learning phase because of that I am not enrolled in any internship program. In my college, there is a campus internship program in the 6th semester. As I am in the income category between 1 to 5 lakh I have also got a fee remission of 41666 in each semester. Many scholarships came but most of them were caste-based so as a general candidate I did not get any of them.

The Campus of the college is good and large. There is constructive and cooperative environment in the college. There are two major festivals conducted in my college one is cultural and the other is technical. Many events are organized in this fest and students have various opportunities to gain some entertainment and skills. There are various club and societies in the college which helps the student to gain some skill.

The admission process was very smooth. Admission is done through the josaa and csab counseling on the basis of jee mains rank. There is a reservation for students of the home state and sc , st, and obc students. sc and st students do have not to pay their institute fees and other cast have to pay on the basis of their income criteria.
