Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

NIT Kurukshetra - An Unbiased Review

Likes

The Sports opportunities are really great and college itself funds for their further games.
All the faculties are highly qualified and are very familiar.
Placements are having amazing stats in previous years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is little old. Needs to be renewed.
Not availablity of wifi on complete campus.
There is not as such hanging out area outside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I joined this course as I had an interest in this particular core subject and as per my research, this is one of the best institutions for this course. The course curriculum is according to national standards set by NIT. All the faculties are highly qualified, and all have done their PhD in their particular fields. Faculty to student ratio is approximately 50:1 but all of them are very helpful. There are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam every semester. It is moderately tough to pass those exams.

I like the atmosphere of study and the infrastructure of my college very much.
The society and the social clubs over here are very much supportive
The faculty over here is very well established and are very skilled

Dislikes

Sometimes we struggle through the different types of issues in hostels

We have a semester of 3 months because of a shortage of time and the faculty over here is quite impressive. They put all their efforts into making things clear to students and the labs are well established and we can do all the certain engineering experiments and projects over here.

Visit to NIT kurukshetra

Campus infrastructure is quite good enough for a student.
There is greenery all over the campus .And there are many types of flower.
Many good companies are visiting for campus placement like google and microsoft

Dislikes

Some faculty are not good in explaining the thing.They have good knowledge but they can't express there knowledge in better way.
Hostel facility are sometimes not good and unhygenic.
Any paperwork in this college is quite delaying.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good. Many companies visit for campus placement. The student is eligible for campus placement from their 7th semester .previous year there was the highest package of 66 lakh ctc and an average of 19.5 lakh from my college. In my branch, there is the highest of 40lakh ctc and average of 9.5 lakh. In tech branches, there is nearly 100% placement. In my branch, there is a placement of 60-70 % students.

A good NIT, worth going there and get most of it

Campus Placements were really good. People who are eligible for placements are generally placed at the end of the year. Packages vary from Course to Course. Computer, IT - 12-13 LPA, Electronics, EE- 8-10 LPA, Mechanical, Production, Civil - 6 LPA
Campus life is fun. With lush green and open campus and ample clubs and societies and good sports facility, one can enjoy college life
Infrastructure is decent enough. Good campus with good facilities

Dislikes

Being an NIT, it deserve improvement in every aspect. Although each facility is good, but scope of improvement is there
Admission and Admin team need to be more supportive and should help students more to solve their queries

My AIR was 35563 and as per counseling I got Production and Industrial Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra, my preference was to get Computer and Circuit branches like Electronics, and Electrical. There were around 70 students in class and were about 10 professors and 5 adhoc teachers. The faculty is highly qualified, they have done Masters and Ph.D. from IIT and abroad. Exams happen as 2 Mid-semester test and End semester test, Difficulty of the exams was moderate.

Likes

Placement is very good here . Maximum students are placed here
Packages also good . highest package is 1.27 cr.
Natural vegetation is also good here.full of fresh here

Dislikes

Food quality is not that much good here.
Climate is very much worst .and to much hot.
Timings of lecture and too much of pressure here.

Placement Experience:

The placement drives start from the mid of the 6th semester with a lot of tech giants coming to campus. Google, Amazon, TCS, Microsoft, Capgemini, Cognizant, L&T, etc are the top recruiters and they provide lucrative packages. 100% of students get placement and the average placement is around Rs 14 LPA. The highest package is Rs 1.25 Crores.

I liked the sports in our college than any other .
The greenery and roads are very well beautiful . I liked it.
Class rooms benches are old in electronics block .

Dislikes

There is no proper guidelines for the students of our clg.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from the 7th semester. Max package is 51lpa and the average package in ece is 10-12lpa. 80% of students get placed. If I don't get placed I have my own plans. There is less placement percentage in our clg.

I like my branch which is ECE as I have to do a lot more work.
I like my colleagues who are very supportive
I like my teacher they are very passionate

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure of the college
Area is not well developed around college
Summer season is not that great for hostel boys

I choose this course cause I think I can go into the software companies through this as I am not getting the top branches like computer science and information technology. The boys to girls ratio is 1:4 Professor are not that good

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.

The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The college is well equipped and has good infrastructure. The students have access to playgrounds, swimming pools, etc

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.
This institute has an amazing library with a rich collection of books and periodicals
The faculty support is commendable here and this institute has an abundant alumni network
The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
