- There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
- Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
- Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.
Dislikes
- The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
- Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
- Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

- The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
- Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.
Dislikes
- Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
- Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
- Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA.
The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

- The management is very helpful and helps us big time.
- PDEU has associations with various foreign universities and it helps us big time in achieving academic goals.

- Fees is very high and also the canteens are equally expensive here.

Placement Experience:
At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.

- many clubs and events for external learning and development
- good level of faculty , good level of teaching and interaction also well developed lab infrastructures and good usage and helpful

- no proper food management in hostel mess for students
- no proper convenience hostel management and admin management in some issues
- some faculty not giving somewhat proper attention and not able to convey message properly
Placement Experience:
placement of college in specific my branch are pretty good not in all cases but yeah based on work u do in 4 year have good chance to secure good placement , i am in 2nd year no company visited or offered yet but data says like 2023 cs 2 student got highest package of 35 LPA in jp morgan and avg of 9LPA .percentage of student getting placed depend on your branch as it decline from top to bottom branches in cs around 50-60 %. my plans after getting degree sorry but not wanted to disclose.

- Our auditorium is such good that even Vibrant Gujarat annual summit twice has taken place at our auditorium.
- Nearly 25% of the syllabus which is one fourth of our syllabus is taught by industry people.
- Each department has their blocks which are well facilitated.
Dislikes
- Location is little outer, however though metro station has been built right next to our university.

Placement Experience:
Reliance Industries, ONGC, GSHC, GNFC, and likewise many state owned PSUs are the ones that comes here for placements. The reason is that this university was built keeping in mind demands of state industries in demand. One can expect a paycheck or 10 lakh CTC from PDEU as most students are paid in that bracket.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is designed in such a way that we get an overall understanding of the domain along with practical experiences.The lab classes are conducted regularly that helps students to learn in effective manner.

- The campus area is large clean and green, and there is a lot of space to sit and chill.
- tobacco and smoking is banned. That's why the campus is fresh and refreshing.
- The cafeteria area of pdeu campus is also large , which can fit a huge amount of student at once. The food quality is also very nice.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the 80% mandatory attendance criteria, because it is impossible to maintain 80% attendance.
- Almost everyday, there Is some event or function by the clubs of the college , which makes it hard to focus on academic.
Placement Experience:
The placements of pdeu are good , but not as good as compared to Nirma University and daiict . The average package of computer science is around 15 lpa and highest is 38 lpa. I think if you have a cgpa over 8.5 and have the skill that is required by the recruiter Company, there is a better chance of you getting a placement.
This year , around 40 students out of 120 got placed in good companies.

- In PDEU the best thing that i liked is the campus of college, The campus has spreaded over more than 100 acres of area, the greenary in the campus is very much good , i liked the greenary of the campus. Campus includes sports complex , canteen etc..
- There are different different blocks such that students of computer engineering has seperate block , SLS ( school of liberal studies ) , have different blocks , so that the students can't merge.
- Computer Labs are too good , it includes the Apple lab which is used to do different types of big projects or research , more than 2 to 3 labs in each block which is very good .
Dislikes
- I don't like is the time of college because it is from 9 AM to 6 PM which too much hactic, according to me the time should be 9 AM to 4 PM , becaus the students who travel and come also reach on perfect time at there home.
- Yes some of the students can't afford there fees , Because if we compare the fees to Goverment college It is somewhat high and some students who are from lower cast , can't afford there fees as it is somewhat high.
- I disliked the strength of class , they give admission to students out of the limit such that the limit of the total students is 60 to 70 they will intake nearly 100 students.
Placement Experience:
The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

The placemants are increasing each year and increase at a great way. number of companies are also increasing each year. The placements were a bit low but now its a good packages. The packages of other branches are also good and increasing.

- Facilities don't anchorage to run behind the marks, they actually Anchorage to work on our skills which can brought us a good pakage in placement
- Almost all faculties are coming from most popular colleges like IIT's NIT's etc many of them have done PHD, faculties are having good teaching skills
- Campus, PDEU have very big campus, the atmosphere in PDEU is very good.

Yes we do have a good pakage placement
Last year highest placement of btech CSE was 32 lakhs but it was off campus. And average placement pakage is 7-8 lakhs
There are many good companies like JPMorgan, L&T, Accenture, TCS etc coming to over campus for placement

What is your review of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Gandhinagar (PDPU)?

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.
- They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
- The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
- The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
- The campus has 3 libraries.
- Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
- Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
- Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
- The whole campus is wifi enabled.
- They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
- Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
