- There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
- Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
- Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.
Dislikes
- The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
- Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
- Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

- The infrastructure of college is of an another level. Every classroom has Air conditioners (AC).
- Every Classroom has there own projector from which the teachers get help to display ppt.
- Variety of students. Here from every part of India students come.
Dislikes
- Here the fee structure is too high. Fee should be less.
- Exams are tougher than expected so he prepared for it.
- Not proper infrastructure for badminton,tt, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of pandit Deen Dayal energy University is totally based for the placement and betterment of the students. It is mainly focused on how we would get the industry knowledge from the books provided by the faculty

- Campus Is very beautiful and greenary. Most of sports ground are there
- Wifi is provided everywhere within campus
- All classroom are equipped with Air conditioners
Dislikes
- Parking space is not available much as compared to vehicles
- Sometimes wifi speed is very low due to heavy user load
- First year subject are worst they are of no use just wasting the time
Placement Experience:
Currently I am studying in 2nd sem . So I don't have much idea about placement but according to data available on website and hearings from senior. Average package is around 9 lpa and highest is over 50 LPA off campus

- The surrounding here in the college is good.
- The area is very large and trees everywhere.
- The classrooms can contain minimum of 75 students.
Dislikes
- There are a lot of wild dogs inside the college premises.
- The playgrounds are not properly managed.
- The security personels are not friendly.
Placement Experience:
The placement rate in PDEU is 90percentage plus. Many MNC and big companies like google amazon Flipkart tcs Reliance tata and many companies come in PDEU for placement. Nearly 99 percentage students get placement if they work hard.

- The clubs at PDEU are awesome. There are more than 40 clubs across all disciplines. Festivals are also celebrated with great enthusiasm.
- One more thing I liked very much about the college is the ragging free campus and hostels. There is zero ragging and all the seniors are very friendly. They also have a toll free number in case ragging is seen anywhere.
- The directors of different departments are so greatly qualified and speak very nicely and are full with knowledge. Seniors are also very friendly and these all things together create an environment where the aspiring students thrive.
Placement Experience:
Currently I am in my first year and no placement is offered to me. They are telling the placements are very nice and the seniors I am connected to on LinkedIn are doing very good with their academics and internships. So I think that the placements are very good. Also according to official statistics of last year, the highest package through campus placement was around 46 lakhs with is huge.

- Beyond academic,My college emphasizes the holistic development of its students .The campus offers various extracurricular activities ,sport facilities,and student clubs that encourages the teamwork
- Pdeu provides numerous opportunities for students to gain global exposure through exchange programs and international conferences
Dislikes
- Some of us find the admistrative process to be slow and cumbersome
- The academic workload can be intense with a rigorous curriculum that demands a significant amount of time and effort
- The placement opportunities could be more diverse, especially for non sector's
Course Curriculum Overview:
As there is huge demand of computer engineering is now a days this course is pretty much good .But talkin' about the teaching curriculum we should improve by applying proper teaching skills from ver basic than to advance

- I liked many things like sports facilities, hostel facilities, architecture
- Pdeu has 2 football ground 1 cricket 6 basketball grounds
- Faculties at PDEU are one of the most experienced and full of knowledge
Placement Experience:
They are average. Not a good return on investment.
Averge is 8 lpa for Cse on 10 lakh fees
From 7th sem students are eligible for placements
Not big MNC visits campus but local companies do visit campus like shipment, oddo etc.
Highest package is around 35lpa
Percentage of student getting placements would be around 80%

- Amazing fests and culture. Also, friendly faculty and classy friends.
- Amazing sports facility, like tennis, badminton, football and cricket
- Nice campus and reputation. Good faculty and good research chances
Dislikes
- Not much done for indoor sports. Such as indoor basketball stadium
- Not very high placements, like 13lpa+. Also, big companies like google dont come here
- 80% attendance is compulsory, which is hard to maintain
Placement Experience:
Placements are not great, but not bad either. You can easily expect a 6 lac per annual job from cse department. Cannot comment on other branches though, due to limited knowledge.

- I liked one thing about this college is its management of academic calendars and supporting nature to start-up
- It provides good campus facilities with all AC classrooms and also on campus ground facilities are very appreciative
- It provides high technology labs like that have i7 12th gen 16RAM 4GB NVIDIA pc in all lab
Dislikes
- Things that I don't like is its time table structure for all students

- PDEU is one of the most expensive engineering college in Gujarat,but the infrastructure is top notch.labs,classroom,sports facilities everything is top notch.
- Talking about teachers and faculties some are awesome whereas some have ego issues, although all of them are highly skilled and expert in there field,they are always up to help.
- Talking about social culture,PDEU is very social,you can easily make tons of friends.seniors are very helpful,we have 40-50 different clubs.from technical clubs of coding to graphic designing, cultural clubs like dancing, singing club, everything.
Dislikes
- Part which i dislike most is outdated syallabus,but in 2024 they are revised whole syllabus so that won't be an issue any more,they are now adding subjects like singing and dancing for overall development
- Our college does not have great placement statistics.with fees of about 11 lakh for four years,the placement ratio is very less and not upto the mark.
- Attendance policy is headache,we have 80% attendance rule,and even after medical leave it should be atleast 70%
Placement Experience:
Our placement are average being honest,after spending hefty money, placements are not upto the mark.
After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement.
Some famous Companies that visit on campus
Is JP morgan, Infosys,tata consultancy services, Aditya Birla group and reliance industries.
For CS branch the average was of 9 lpa with highest being of 38 LPA.for all other branch average was around 7-6lpa.
Almost 50% of students goes for higher studies and out of remaining 50%,only about 60-70% of them are placed.
My plans is to prepare for CAT and get into good B-school

- college coding culture as it has many clubs especially encode that hosts several events regarding current topics.
- college fests this are too vibrant and essential for a student who is in any college.
- faculties are always eager to help the students and also help us.
Dislikes
- sometime the University timings and timetable is too hectic.
- sometimes the assigned works are too much that overloads as.
- Exams are quite tough here but depends upon how to study.
Placement Experience:
students get eligible for placements after 7 semester and last till 8 sem. For internships the companies come during 6th sem. Many well-known and good companies have visited with descent package and to get the list refer the official website of PDEU and for further details for placements and package related. I have decided for seat for placement rather masters.

What is your review of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Gandhinagar (PDPU)?

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.
- They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
- The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
- The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
- The campus has 3 libraries.
- Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
- Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
- Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
- The whole campus is wifi enabled.
- They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
- Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
