What JEE Main rank is needed for PDEU Computer Engineering admission?

PDEU does not publish a fixed closing rank. For reference, the 2025 cycle closing rank for All India seats was around 3,42,862 across all categories. Candidates with a JEE Main rank within 20,000 qualify for a full tuition fee waiver. The exact cutoff shifts each year based on the applicant pool and seat availability.

Is GUJCET accepted for PDEU B.Tech admission?

GUJCET scores are used only for ACPC Gujarat state quota seats, which are 25% of the total B.Tech intake. For All India seats (60%), only the JEE Main 2026 rank is used. B.Tech Biotechnology also accepts GUJCET from Gujarat candidates with a PCB background.

What is the total PDEU B.Tech fee for four years?

Is work experience mandatory for PDEU MBA admission?

Does PDEU have a management quota for B.Tech?

How many B.Tech seats does PDEU offer branch-wise?

PDEU B.Tech total intake is 1,440 seats. Computer Engineering has 300 seats, and ICT has 180 seats. Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, ECE, Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering each have 120 seats. CSBS and Climate Science and Sustainable Engineering each have 60 seats.

What MBA specialisations does PDEU offer, and how is the selection done?

PDEU MBA offers 4 specialisations: Energy and Infrastructure Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Business Analytics. Students may also choose a cross-domain minor specialisation. Final selection uses a composite score: entrance test 50%, PI 20%, work experience 10%, GD 10%, academics 5%, and WAT 5%.

There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

Life at PDEU

Likes

The laboratories and campus infrastructure are really very good.
The faculty has a very good expertise in teaching along with great experience. Most of them are IIT PHD scholars and have great knowledgeow
The campus amenities involve big comfortable classrooms and laboratories along with a dedicated sports complexs

Dislikes

The teaching method of few of the faculties is worst.
Some faculties don't even have that practical knowledge which they should possess to provide us.
The teaching method should be improved as the course curriculum is really brilliant

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester itself. They could give interviews to the companies which visit our College. In their final year students can even acquire a great placement from the companies visiting our College for hiring students. The companies visiting are TCS,Paypal,JPMC,google and many more. The highest packages are obtained by petroleum engineering students beacause of the universities specialization in it. Also the average package ranges from 5-6 lpa but not 100% placement is achieved. Around 70-80% students get placed every year if we talk about all branches overall. My plan is to achieve a good placement from the college itself after my degree.

The faculty here is good enough for you.
There is quite a good education here and the exam system here is also good
There is equality here and no one can get admission via contacts

Dislikes

Girls ratio is too low here, 10 in class of 85
There are many boys here in the college.
Specially in electrical field there are more girls compared to boys

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college offers a lot of additional activities like worshop practices in which a individual can get to know different types of works related to cutting of woods, how the wood is manufactured and how its processed amd then also we have classes of environmental sciences human resources, and then at last we also have class of Indian knowledge system, in which we can get advanced knowledge about how the justice workds in our country india amd can get additional knowledge rather than just conputer Engineering science which is my field, so this is the thing that attracted my to get in this college

Likes

The campus is pretty good. It has modern infrastructure and good research facilities.
Seniors are very supportive and friendly to freshmen. There is no chance of raging.
The events and festivals are so good. There are so many cocurricular activities that are important in my college.

Dislikes

Some faculties are so rude. They don't get liberal with students.
Attendance is very important in my college. College is very serious about attendance.
The boy-to girl ratio is very poor. It's around 4 boys at one girl.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students can apply for campus placement. So many tech and finance companies come to give placement in our college, like TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan, and the list goes on. The highest package offered is 38 L.P.A. by JP Morgan to 4 students. Almost 70% of students get placed. After getting my degree, I would love to try in the startup industry; in fact, I have so many ideas.

Likes

First of all we get an Excellent Infrastructure facilities here.
we've got amenities and other facilities like sports comples for different kind of sports including basket ball,Cricket,Football,Tennis etc.
teachers are higher graduated and very helpful.

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess food is not much tasteful
During rainy season the walking area connecting one block to other are filled with water
There should be some lineancy for entry in college as sometimes we forget to being id card and we’ve to go back to hostel for that

Placement Experience:

college provide good placement for different branches and one of my cousin recently graduated from civil engineering branch and he got package of 8 lakh per annum placement from college in ADANI limited corporation

Campus is great with big grounds to pursue sports.
Great culture which helps to easily socialise and make friends.
Great staff to help improve personally and they are there whenever needed

Dislikes

Campus security is too strict about the id card.
Confusing mapping, when you first enter you are completely blank
The way of education structure which does not help everyone to understand.

Fees and Financial Aid:

About the fees for a normal middle class student like me and stuying in a reputed college did cost me a lot of pressure and through my first year of college as i am not a well doer in my feild but still i'd like my college to start more scholarship programs.

Vibrant life of PDEU

Likes

College Environment , culture and Green Environment.
The gender ratio at PDEU, like many technical institutes in India, tends to be skewed towards males. The ratio of girls to boys is approximately 1:4.
Campus life and social interactions with the Colleges.

Dislikes

The teaching method should be more diverse.
The course curriculum should be improved and updated to the latest Technologies.
There is no sports activity other than 1st year.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement at the end of the third year. The highest package is ?50,00,000, and the average package is ?10,00,000. After graduating, I plan to secure a placement in a good company. Around 90% of students get placed.

I like the infrastructure of the university
The experience of faculty is at peak level
The computer lab and system of university is always updated

Only one parking area of the university is so bad and muddy
The management system for rain water is not good

The major portion of batches will get placement and some of students goes for further studies but those who seek for placement and not getting the placement, for that the university is already given the exposure to the industry through there internship programs The highest package offered is approx 40 lakhs ruppes

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good. The buildings are well maintained
Like minded people and quite a good alumni
Clubs and co curricular activities are carried on regularly

Dislikes

Return of investment is a little low based on the fees you pay
Very less internship opportunities are provided
Placements are not too bad but they are decent for the computer branch

Placement Experience:

I plan of getting a job offcampus as the placement opportunity is not that upto the mark considering the chunk of fees they take the return of investment is pretty low and i would rather opt for higher studies in foreign countries

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.
