IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have an interest in electrical engineering and am mainly into circuits. the faculty-student ratio is 1:15. many facilities have PhDs from well-reputed schools. the exams are often challenging and the average goes low.

Placements are pretty decent in my college with a high employment rate there is no such company according to me that has visited and hired 0 students the placement percentage is around 80-90% other students either go for higher studies or prepare for other competitions.

placements in my college are awesome eligibility for campus placements is after the 7th semester. companies like Microsoft, amazon place here. average package is 22 L and the highest package is 1.5 crore. percentage of students getting placed is around 94. my plan is to get an MBA degree from any prestigious institution in an international country.

IITD has a distinguished history of placements. The average package here is about 22 LPA. A good percentage of students get placed here. After getting my degree, I wish to be placed in a well-rewarding company through own-campus placements.

People take internships in 3rd year's end and get PPOs if they perform well. Placements happen in 7th semester. Companies visited: about 200, Offers made: 935 people out of 1200. Highest package: 1.4 crores; Average package: 16 lakh Percentage: 78%, Plans: Higher studies.

Students are eligible for campus placement after the 6th semester for BTech and after the 8th semester for the dual degrees. There are many companies which visit the campus and put in offers. A few companies under which I volunteered this time during placement season are Grow and Schlumberger. The highest packages are offered by quant companies like Jane street and Optiver and software companies like google and Microsoft. For quant companies the package was around 1 Cr and for software companies, it's about 40 lakhs. The placement is about 80 per cent of the total. I do not have any fix plans after getting the degree.

After 2nd sem students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, nirvana, Allen, Samsung, apple, etc. Are visited with enough no. of offers. 95% of students on average got placements. Wants to work in digital Nano circuit (ic).

From the seventh semester, students become placement eligible. Names of companies are Amazon and Facebook and google. The highest is 1.5 crore and the average is 10 lakhs. 80% of students get normally placed. Doing a tech job.

A large variety of companies visit the campus including Microsoft, Google, Da Vinci, Graviton, McKenzie, BCG, Bain, Samsung, Sony, Goldman Sachs, etc. Over 50% of the students are placed by the end of the first phase. The highest package goes over 1 CR (CTC) while the average package is somewhere around 12.5 lacs.

Actually, according to my preference, I kept the college higher on my priority list. So Delhi and Bombay were on my priority list. Also, delhi was closer to my hometown so it was more preferable. Faculty-student ratio is 1:120, Faculty members are professionals in their fields and usually teach through already-made slides. The term exams are held regularly without any delay and contain a good level of questions. If a student has basic knowledge of the course I don't think they are too hard to pass.
