- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Placement Experience:
Most big companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, BCG, etc come for hiring. The placements start when the student is in the 6th semester. All students get placed. The salary ranges from crores to very modest sums.

- Best campus and good environment for study
- Lots of extra events other than aceds also happens.
- Best for doing startups at early age and in 1st year
Dislikes
- More academic pressure on students from 1st semester
- Nothing other than this as it is best IIT
- Hostel facilities are fine but not so good

The placement sat statics of the college is also nice. From the 6th semester, students are allowed to get placement and in one year approx 600 placement happens. Many companies such as Uber, TATA, McLery, etc came. percentage of students getting placed is about 80%

I have chosen Electrical engineering because I couldn't get CSE at IIT Delhi student to faculty ratio is very bad. but the quality of teaching is good and professors have high educational qualifications

- Really liked hostel culture here. It really wakes up a sense of community and i.e. sense of responsibility associated with it which are to be faced later in life... makes you future prepared.
- Seniors here are also really helpful. Always ready to help you from academics to your love life , you can share it all, you won't be ragged.
- Really liked how along with academics extra curriculars are also given equal importance.
Dislikes
- Disliked the 75% attendence criterion. Like we are now responsible adults we should be able to decide wether or not we need to attend this course or not.
- Also dislikes how in hot delhi weather we boil like an egg in our rooms.
Placement Experience:
The student becomes eligible for campus placement in their 4th year of BTech.
Really big companies like amazon, google, Microsoft, etc. Visits the campus. Most of the students get placed and packages offered vary from crores to modest paying.

The placements from our college are one of the best any college can offer. A lot of companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc come to hire students from our college. The highest packages can go up to 2cr.

- Coming after a two year lockdown, the exposure I got at IIT Delhi was amazing. I explored various cocurricular clubs which helped in shapingmy personality

- There is still a lot of academic competition among students, which is expected from the brightest minds of the country
Placement Experience:
It is no secret that IITs offer some of the best placement stats in the country and IIT Delhi, being one of the top IITs totally lives up to the statistics. The college boasts a placement package going as high as 1.5 crores per annum with high-profile names such as Graviton, NK Securities, Jane Street, etc. The highest packages are usually around 1 crore per annum domestically with an average of 15-20 LPA. Almost all the students who sit for placements are placed with decent packages.

Campus placements at IITD are very good. From the 7th semester one can apply for cam[us placements.
Google and Microsoft visited AS much as I know both of them hadn't made any placement.

Students are eligible for PPOs after their 3rd-year internships, I guess, I don't have much knowledge of placements but I think they're supposed to be good and a good number of students get placed by the end of their course, on campus. The rest also get placed easily off campus, from what I hear. I don't have much idea about placements and have no idea about my plans after getting the degree.

Many companies are coming for the placements like Microsoft, Flipkart, Optiver, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Mercedes, etc.
Most of the students get placed in the placements. There is a very wide distribution in the packages varying from crores to modest paying packages.

I chose this course (Electrical Engineering) because of its hands-on laboratory work that I enjoy doing. The faculty is highly qualified from the top institutions around the globe. There are two minor exams and one major exam each semester.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
