Like my thermal teacher is amazing and wonderful sir they have amazing knowledge and wonderful mind set about everything.
Scholarships are very good, and dtu scholarships and govt scholarships like mcm are easily getable.
Placement is pretty amazing. also it is one the best core jobs providing universities in india.

Dislikes

The scholarships and financial assistant are there but they are not that easy to avail.
Due to recession less companies are coming in college which is affecting all over placements.
Hostel not provided to delhi region students...dtu has enough space for hostels but not made.. day scholars suffers alot...a very big disadvantage

My College: Through my Eyes

Likes

I like the campus, its big and beautiful
The placement stas are quite impressive here.
Infrastructure is improving at a rapid rate as new hostels and buildings are being built

Dislikes

I think there is a lot of crowd in DTU so its always a bit messy around here in fests and all
The course structure is outdated and it neends to be changed as done in IIIT Delhi
The faculty many of them are frustated with no promotions they often fail students deliberatey

Placement Experience:

You have internship season just after your second year and placement season just after your third year. Almost 300+ companies come to campus every year and placement percentage is overall 60 % as a lot of students in lower branches cant get placements. Students in COE,IT,SE,MCE,ECE,EE get the highest placements. The overall average ctc is 16 lpa and the highest package offered was 1.8 cr by Amamzon,dublin. I want to go for higher studies

The campus life in DTU is the best the clubs , society, environment gives the best vibes
The fest in the college , the cultural program and stalls
The library and availability of books is the best.

Dislikes

The fee structure of DTU is quite not affordable

Placement Experience:

The palcement of DTU is very good 70% of students get placed . DTU Placements offers good salary packages to its students. The 2023 placement drive recorded the highest package of INR 82.05 LPA. It's average package is of 20 lakhs and lowest package 12lakhs. Companies like info edge ,Microsoft Adobe ,Zomato visit at time of placement. Student is eligible for placement from the 5th semester.

Placement record is very good here. It is comparable to best NITs in India.
Faculty is very helpful and college life is very chill.
Infrastructure is very good and area is very large it is fun to roam around in college at night

Dislikes

Hostels are not sufficient. If you are from Delhi you wouldn't be allotted hostels
The Number of students in some branch are very large for eg. In CSE there are 500+ students
Fees ia also high consideration it is a government college but you can easily take loan from SBI branch inside college

In fifth semester you bacome eligible for internships and in seventh semester for placements. All big companies visit as it it tire one college in Delhi like Google, Facebook , Adobe etc. In computer science batch avg CTC offered was 24 lpa and avg. Of whole college was around 15 lpa. Percentage of students getting placements depends on the brach in CSE 100% placement was done but in other branches it was around 85% I personally would like to go Germany for masters as I have to settle there.

DTU-perspective of CSE student

Likes

It has big and lush green campus which is well maintained.
All sport facilities are available, groups and societies are active.
Placements and internship opportunities are really good.

Dislikes

Crowd here is not so good, students with very low rank also gets admission
There are very high number of monkeys, they attack frequntly
Research opportunities may not be up to the mark

Placement Experience:

DTU provides great internship and placement opportunities. In CSE branch, Google, microsoft and every big tech company visits and offer good package, roughly 90% students get placed, rest go for higher courses, startups or government jobs

An Honest review of College DTU

Likes

College life of this college is very impressive and good as all things are provided in campus .
Placement of DTU is also quite good and almost all students got placed
Infrastructure of College is also very good and sports complex is very big to play .

Dislikes

Hostels are good but not as good as we wanted ,like they are just okayish
Gender ration is not good in this college as girls are very less but boys are too much
Everything is good except the communication between the college and student

Placement Experience:

Student after the fifth or sixth semester are eligible for placements. There are variour companies visited like Microsoft , Google , Atlasian , TCS etc and there were more than 1600+ offers made . This year highest package was around 80 -86 LPA and Average package was around 16 LPA . more than 90% students got placed in the placement . My plan after getting the degree is to start a Startup.

Campus is really good and well maintained .
Sociteies and clubs are active and organize events very frequently.
Faculties are really helpful and know about their subjects.

Dislikes

Fees structure is way more for a middle class student.
The academic pressure is very much there .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course beacuse it's the most demanded course currently. IT is a booming sector with lucrative package and if we look with future aspects it's one of the safest job . The faculty is really good . They are professional in thei perspective field with lot of knowledge of their subjects .

A tour on dtu

Likes

Chilly college life and not much pressure on studies
No stress on attendance and a wide variety of things to do in college
Good placement and super cool seniors which help in mostly on all problems

Dislikes

A little old infrastructure of college due to how early it was made
No hostel for students living in Delhi and not very good hostel

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good and usually you get one on campus placement. There are a huge number of companies that visit campus whose number easily goes 50+ highest package easily reach 1crore+ and average package for all branch goes from lowest 10 - 25 lakhs per year. Percentage of students getting placement easily reach 80%+ . For my plans i decided to get a placement job.

Likes

I love the campus and professors of our class.
I love the sports available at our campus. There are lots of sports for play.
I like the infrastructure of our campus.

Dislikes

Attendence should be more then 75 percent is mandatory.
The academic fee is little bit more then expected.
The rules for hostellers are too strict.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good and the faculty members was very good in nature. They check our documents very frequently and nicely. I choose this course because i love to do experiments with machines and design new things.

DTU : PROS AND CONS

Likes

College life is something I enjoyed the most.
Senior are very supportive and helpful towards us.
The academic process of DTU also helps us to explore the subject.

Dislikes

There is no option for partial few payment.
Hostel is not available for students who come even from 30 km away
There is no in campus travel facility available.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement there are alot of companies who visites DTU on regular basis some of them and the package offered by them are as follows 1. Wipro - 16LPA 2.GAIL - 9LPA 3.SPRINKLER - 16LPA
