DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

So placements here is highly good as compared to many IITs .almost all big companies came to the campus during the placement season (started in 7th sem ). And students here got 1cr + package also. In tech branches almost 80% of students got placement and for nontech around 50-60% got placement. Avg package of coe branch is around 18 lakh per annum.

DTU placement stat is great. There are a lot of companies that visit DTU during placement drives. These companies include Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Deshaw, Goldman Sachs, Myntra, and many more. The highest international package is around 1-1.2 crore and the average package is around 12 lacs. Roles offered are of software developer, web developer, etc. In this branch, around 90% of students got placed while the total Percentage of the whole DTU is around 75%.

My branch is electronics and communication engineering(ECE) in dtu so i tell about ece curriculum and faculty members. Course structure is good and 80% syllabus is matched with electrical students and some subjects are tricky and hard you need to focus more about on that like Analog electronic(AE). ECE seats are around 244 in dtu so ece batch is divided into four sections and each section have 61 student strength. Ece faculty is highly educated all almost all teacher is PhD degree graduate and few teachers have a master degree overall teachers are good in teaching and experience. Exams are conducted two times in one year. The first one is mid sem and other one is end sem.

The placement in this college is not comparable to any college at it has its own record of placement with high CTC and salary Every year giant companies and many more companies visit the college for giving placement around 400 companies visit the campus and give offers to students. The highest placement this year is 1.42 cr and the average is 10 lac. Around 95 percent of students got his placement.

You are eligible for campus placements 4th year onwards many top companies visit such as Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Uber, Adobe, Google, Samsung etc. And there are 350+ companies visiting every year giving 1400+ offers

I am satisfied with the faculty members, campus, amazing infrastructure, and college life. Placements: Approximately 80% of the students get placements here, and the rest are those who opt for higher studies or government exams like GATE or CAT. Internships are also offered from college only, and the highest stipend is 2 lac per month which is provided by Sprinkler. Faculty: Everyone knows that DTU is a government-aided college hence professors are not so good at teaching like they have proper qualifications and, they are good, but unlike in private colleges you have to study here by yourself. Placement is top-notch in DTU .you just need to be mastered in your field. From coding to the core to non teach you will find a decent placement. You just need to work upon your skills and improve them. 7th-semester students become eligible for placement. Companies like TI, Amazon, sprinkler, Samsung, and many big. MNC comes in DTU with avg package of 10 lacs. So you don't need to worry about placements. The highest package this year was 45 lacs by sprinkler. . around 80-85 percent of students get placed

Well, I am in the second year and talking about Electrical engineering specifically most of the teachers are very good, helpful and part of your academics they try to give you ideas on your projects and some teachers are there who are just limited to their course . Among EE (DTU), ME (DTU), and ECAM (NSUT- new campus) I chose EE because ECAM was a new branch and that too in one corner of Delhi which was about 50km from my residence and I rejected ME because of the placement stats ( as they are not allowed in tech companies) . Student ratio - in total there are about 330 students and in my section, there are 78 student Qualification of faculty - All the faculty had either done Ph.D. or they are undergoing Ph.D., they all are highly qualified Exam - 3 class test ( best of two ) and 2 minor tests (in which best 1 will be considered) these (2 +1) test comprises of 50 percent weightage and 25 percent is your Project and rest 25 is attendance, home assignment, and classwork.

Well the course curriculum is quite organised i.e quite similar to that of IIT's...also we have class tests and surprise tests like that of the quizze's held in IIT's. So my personal opinion abt teachers- Many of em are quite encouraging and have good knowledge of the subject, but some proffesors are quite strict, often i felt like learning from the "virus" of 3 idiots????.

The placements are good and anyone with skils manage to get a good package in big companies. Most companies let the students of all branches to sit in the placements and even the students of core branches manage to bag big offers from big tech companies like amazon, google microsoft, atlassian , etc. THe highest international package offered this year was 1.02cr LPA and the highest domestic package was 51.7 LPA. I plane to compete for campus placements after my degree. &th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Around 1200 ofers wer made this year. almost 90% of students managed to get placements.
