Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The decision to choose this is not so bad. The curriculum helps me to get so many practical knowledge and lots of technical skills. The frequency of exams are goods and the leave after the exams are good approx (1-1.5 months).

The BE course is nice and tough. And provide good professional level experience but is not well updated according to new gen technology and compilers such as ai and all. Semester exams are done every 6 months and mid some every 1 or 2 months not very hard

IT is chilled branch here though it wont matter much. Other than this, it's better than taking in this college rather than going to any other tier 3 private college at this rank. Campus is a bit smaller than expected but you get everything needed.. Teacher are okayish I would say, you will get some very good and few too bad..

Campus placement is there one can easily get placed but its upto the student and one can opt for off campus placement. There is a training and placement cell in the campus. companies visit here are infosys and more.

Several reputed companies visit the campus to recruit students across various disciplines. The percentage of students securing placements varies from year to year but generally ranges from 70 to 90%. As of my plans after completing the degree, i am considering various options based on my intrests,skills and career aspirations

Placement is good here.Most of colleges show their off campus placement on their website and we confused there In last year average package was 9.5lac for (CSE,IT,ECE). Highest placement is given by Amazon of 45lac.amazon gives 4student American express gives a offer to 14students deolite 14students KPMG to 21students.And many more offers.Every year 50+ company visit here.DRDO also visit there.

Companies come cor placement offer from early 8th semester. Companies like Sun Pharma,Relaince ,Bechtal, Aarti, Wabagh,Nescafe, Iopcl are the recruiters. Student get placed for 6lpa to 9lpa And the average goes for around 8lpa College had a 90% placement ratefor chemical branch. My plane after graduation is to get into government job through SSC CGL for now. Placement in mba and food technology is very less company very less visits.

Cse it ece have good placement states but all other branches have not good placement. Mainly students prepare for higher studies. So if you belong to cse it branch prepare for the placement and prepare for good skills. And campus placement starts in your 7th semester. 50-100 companies visit every year in this college.

our college has good placements concerning return on investment, its average package is about 8,50,000 INR, and off-campus drives in this college are also quiet handy, one just needs to focus on data structures and algorithms effectively.

from 7th semester students from all branches are eligible for placements. there are so many companies that come here .some of the top recruiters are Amazon-14 offers, Samsung-15 offers,Deloitte-14 offers,KPMG-21 offers and many more . the highest package was offerd by amazon that was 31 lpa and the average package offerd here is 900000 and almost 90 percents students get placed here . my plans are to get a descent package in a good company.
