Yes there is many things to improve curriculum. Because the course curriculum is too old for placement u should to eager new things and apply that things u should learn from youtube or friends circle but by college professor u learn only old knowledge u didn't know about the what the ask for placement interview so prepare yourself to get a good placement .there is no help by professors.

Cse it ece have good placement states but all other branches have not good placement. Mainly students prepare for higher studies. So if you belong to cse it branch prepare for the placement and prepare for good skills. And campus placement starts in your 7th semester. 50-100 companies visit every year in this college.

Every year the institute hike the fees by about 7-10% ,for general fees per year is 100000 to 130000 so for other reservation communities[only for Panjab region] fees per year are 18000 to 25000. There is many financial aid for students but u aware of this u should continue to check out the websites if u don't u don't get any scholarships. If u have skill got a good placement if u have not, then prepare that for good placement.

Campus life or city life is a good life you have access to what you do. So there is many technical fest or cultural festivals. Like goonj,aagaz or many more. So you enjoy the fest. There are many societies like technical societies, placement cell , dance, drama societies, or many more u can go and enjoy college life

Hostel facility is average meal price is around 40-45/- so the quality of food is not good. To low but yes u can eat it. The room is good all room is double sharing and have good wifi speed and if you go for pg. Pg is good according to your requirements. And the process of hostel accommodation is very easy if you have a good rank or good marks in the exam you have to possibility to get the govt hostel

If you have rank between 60000- 1.5 lac then you should apply for jac chandigarh counseling that is very easy to apply . firstly this university is government institution. So u have better opportunities compare to private institutions. You should go for better campus life avg placement or higher degree if you want. Yes there is reservation for sc/st or other communities maybe this is only for panjab region communities . If you belongs to the panjab region and this reservations communities your fees is too low approx 17-18k per year only. Professors are very supportive the difficulty level of papers /exam is easy . U should clear the exam by read the previous year papers. There is suggestion to all students Participate in every activity of department and be a leader.
