Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Being a government college, UIET faculty is all Ph.D. and has a good experience in real-world projects too. Students to faculty ratio are good. In a semester there are 3 exams that are not so difficult to clear.

Placements are quite good here . almost all students of CSE and IT get placed in tech companies. Other branch students are also placed in both tech and non tech companies. For being a student to get placed he/she must have cgpa above 7.5.

The companies for placements visit UIET in the final year. Some big names are Amazon, Samsung, ZS Associates, and Deloitte. Giving an average package of around 8 LPA. Except for campus placements, UIET also has ME and Ph.D. courses.

Placements in 7 sem. Amex, optimum, zs, and amazon are a few of the big companies that visit for cse/it branches. If you want to get a placement you will for sure get one. Only those students who are not interested don't get one, the rest get enough opportunities. Be patient. In quiet it's not a big deal.

Placements of Cse and It are very good and many excellent companies offer excellent packages to students. Compaines like Amazon, American Express, optimum, and many startups also offer in uiet. Students become eligible for placement in the 7th sem. The highest package last time was 44 LPA which was off-campus I think and the on-campus highest is 34 by amazon. Around 90% of cse and its students get placed in decent companies so if you are from it or cse you don't have to worry.

Placements are done in the 7th sem of the degree. There are 70+ companies visiting campus with all the roles. namely American Express, ZScaler, ProcDNA, Policy Bazar, Amazon, Samsung, etc. The highest package is 40 LPA and the roles offered are Analysts, SDE, BTA, BTSA, etc. 95% placements in CS and IT.

For the 6th and 8th semesters, the students are allowed to sit for campus placements Many medium-sized companies like Infosys and Wipro come to campus. The highest packages usually go for off-campus placement. An average package placed is 6-7 L/yr. After graduation goes for off-campus or higher studies via GATE. Almost 40 percent get placed

Cource curriculum is based on ik gujrat Punjab technical University and faculty members are very experienced and teach in such an easy manner that syllabus seems to be easy, exams and msts are two months each , student ratio is high

Many students opt for placement after completing their courses both on campus and off campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, Samsung, TCS, Mahindra, Infosys, Cadbury, HP, Deloitte and many more are recruiters at UIET Chandigarh. With about 445 offers. The highest package was 45 LPA while the average package was 9.5 LPA. 90% get placement in UIET with the highest placement of about in CSE and IT Branches. I would also like to get placement in a reputed company for a high package and work as a software engineer.

The course is of 4 years every year 2 semesters and total of 48 subject all 4 yr. faculty is qualified and have specialization in their respective field of teaching through college being a govt. management is not that good
