- There are many scholarships available for the students which can help the students in many ways it help the needy people who cannot afford fees or have better excellence .
- They professor and teachers were friendly and had great knowledge of in their subjects
- The application form, fees and admission dates was pretty available on the website and everything was also provided on the college brochure!
Dislikes
- The condition of the rooms is very bad and it is requires renovation .overall i pay 6000 a month for my hostel room .. mess is 950 which is included in 6000
- Political group are quite active. students are also not getting hostels easily therefore its quite difficult for student from from faraway to survive. attendance policy is also very strict.
- It only provides a fan , a bed , and a almirah which in most cases is faulty .

- I like the mordernized culture of UIET. See UIET Chandigarh is not a any separate college, It is an Engineering department of very prestigious Panjab University. So the PU culture is very modern. It will helps you a lot in your overall development.
- So we all know that Panjab University Chandigarh is One of the best universities in India and globally also. so it is very helpful for students. If you want to pursue masters in foreign countries like USA ,Canda,Australia,UK
- Then it is very easy to join if you are a student of a Panjab University. The placement of UIET is very much good as compared to other state government and many lower NITs. And Course Fee is also very Low So ROI is very good.
Dislikes
- In UIET not everyone can get a hostel. Only Few Students Can get it. You can get a hostel by a merit list.
- In UIET department ,There is only Two Academic Blocks. So it's not big as Like NITs,IITs. But the Panjab University is very well build.
Placement Experience:
The Placements of my college are too good as compared to many other state government or NITs.from beginning of 7th semester students become eligibele for placements. so many Companies are visited here like for CSE American Express, Amazon, Zscaler, Cognizant, Deloitte, accenture etc.For ECE BEL,DRDO, Philips etc.For mechanical, Land T, Volvo eicher, Dalkia, Grail etc.

- First thing i liked was the college surroundings .
- the campus infrastructure , cleanliness , environment.
- college fees , which is very less and very good return on investment .
Dislikes
- campus size is a little bit small , and that can be a reason.
- those dream packages of more than 20lpa are not there .
- there are not much things to be disliked here.
Placement Experience:
students are elegible to sit in the placemnts from 7th semester.
placements are pretty decent here.
almost 80 to 90 percent students get place every year .
th highest package is 18 lpa and 12 lpa
the average package 6.5 lpa.

- The thing i like about the hoshiarpur campus is that it has all the facilities from having sports and grounds to medical facilities , the campus is surrounded by lush green environment and we can see himachal mountains too the weather here is great.
- The faculty here is very encouraging and also strict at the same time they will encourage you to perform in your specific domain and do great , the seniors and the alumni base here is also very skilled and learned the also help and guide you .
- The curriculum is is planned in such a way that it helps in cracking placements in the desired branches specially in the core field , students from other branches are also allowed to take part in IT placements and even get placed in IT jobs.
Dislikes
- The things which is mostly disliked in the college is that the environment is not suitable for out side states , the locals here try to loot the people from other state by increasing Rent prices or goods prices.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements here are pretty decent , not that much good but if study hard specifically for placements then easily can get around 6lpa paclage , also there is plenty of time for other comptetevie exams such as gate , cat or upsc people spend ample amount of time in studyng these subjects and get selectd too , also higher study in foreing university and colleges can be focused if cgpa can be foced based on acadmics , the opportunity here is never ending.

- All the professors were skilled and had a great experience in research work , they had a deep and intensive knowledge of their subject .
- The lab facilities available were top notch
- Design and innovation lab offered students an opportunity to work on real time projects of IOT as well as machine learning
Dislikes
- Limited seats in hostel . Only meritorious students have the access to it .
- Skills like machine learning and deep learning are being promoted but fields like Full Stack development , DevOps are being downsized .
- Security Guards and non-teaching staff is generally rude .

- Campus Night life is amazing. Hostels are open 24*7 . There are no restrictions on entry and exit of student .Hostel life is the best here.
- The teachers teach quite good and the subject can be understood in class itself.also they are very supportive in every manner
- They strictly following no ragging rules and strict actions are taken against those who try to rag .
Dislikes
- They don't provide oncampus internship opportunities
- The classrooms aren't cleaned regularly. They are dusty most of the times .
Placement Experience:
From 7 th semester students become eligible for placements .
Almost all the students of it and cse gets placed.the highest package of 2024 was around 22 lakhs and the average package is around 8 lakhs.
Zs visits for non tech roles and lots of other companies visits for tech roles.
Many students sit for off campus placements also if they wish to get higher package then those offered by companies that visit .
Most of the companies that visit offer a package of around 9-10 lakhs for it and cse .

- college environment is very secure and girls boys interaction is good
- campus also contain law department so fests are organised by both departments and you can enjoy your campus life.
- campus is greener so you can enjoy the place if you are environment freindly
Dislikes
- students lacks in innovation in creating new opportunities
- the funds managment is very poor from managment society
- the groups are not very active leaving one or two groups and socites interaction is very poor
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course is very fascinating and prepares you for real world problem solving making you eligble for proper job opportunities in government as well as private sector. you aslso get to do internship to do during your course

- Thing i disliked the most is response to student's problem
- As they solve problem of students but a bit late
- Also the infrastructure is bit old you will notice.
Placement Experience:
Placements are average in this college as highest package i came to know about was around 12 lpa. mostly students gets their placements at the end of 3rd year or at the starting of 4th year. As i have rarely seen a 4th year student in clg.

- Fees is high for middle class people and unable to do lot
Course Curriculum Overview:
The BE course is nice and tough. And provide good professional level experience but is not well updated according to new gen technology and compilers such as ai and all.
Semester exams are done every 6 months and mid some every 1 or 2 months not very hard

- I loved the clubs like sports committee, GDSC etc. They are awesome.
- I loved the campus life. The campus is having so much greenery.
- I loved the faculty. They are highly experienced and helpful too.
Dislikes
- I did not like that there are very less students in other branches.
- I did not like the way Goonj '23 was conducted.
- Overall the campus is small. Only it consists of 3 blocks.
Placement Experience:
Yes, placements are present. It happens in July for final-year students. You can apply by contacting TPC. You may check the statistics of TPC, on LinkedIn or their official website. Almost all CSE students get placed. Other branch students also get placed. A lot of technical companies visit the campus every year.

- Playing volleyball, badminton was one of my favourite activities that I used to perform everyday.
- The events of law used to be very happening.
- Their social culture is good and sports meet.
Dislikes
- Not so much of technical background, lack in technical skills.
- Less placements ,due to shortage of companies in college for internship.
- Campus area is small ,which results in less sports arena.
Placement Experience:
After 3 Rd years, students become eligible for campus placements.
Usually, startup companies visit our campus along with Josh, Infosys, etc.
99% gets placed on our campus.
My plans are to work in big MNCs with quite a handsome package.
