- Campus Night life is amazing. Hostels are open 24*7 . There are no restrictions on entry and exit of student .Hostel life is the best here.
- The teachers teach quite good and the subject can be understood in class itself.also they are very supportive in every manner

Course Curriculum Overview
I am information technology student . I chose this because its average package is good .also i like coding that made me choose this course .The subjects of every semester are designed in a way to enhance our logic building which is the ultimate goal. Summer internships and trainings are made compulsory so that the student gets exposure to real life projects. The exams are not much difficult.they are of moderate level . And there are two mid sems and one end sem . The best of the two mid sems is added in the final result.
Placement Experience
From 7 th semester students become eligible for placements . Almost all the students of it and cse gets placed.the highest package of 2024 was around 22 lakhs and the average package is around 8 lakhs. Zs visits for non tech roles and lots of other companies visits for tech roles. Many students sit for off campus placements also if they wish to get higher package then those offered by companies that visit . Most of the companies that visit offer a package of around 9-10 lakhs for it and cse .
Fees and Financial Aid
The per year fees is about 1,20,000. And there is no as such rise in the fees every year . The total fees of 4 years is around 5,10,000 .This includes the examination fees and tuition fees . Overall the fees is near to this amount . There are many scholarship opportunities which come very often for female candidates, for sc,st,obc's . The average package is good and it's about 8 lakhs for IT AND CSE. There are lots of on campus opportunities and also the competition is less since it is a government college.
Campus Life
Punjab University has a lot of fests . They are typically held in march , September,october ,november . As There are many departments so there are lot of events to go in . Some of the fests are scitron ,agaaz,goonj and many more. We have a very big 24*7 library in punjab University where we can get whichever book we want easily. There are lots of co-curricular clubs like drama ,singing , sports clubs ,dance club, and various technical clubs like gdsc ,ieee etc. lots of opportunities are provided and they are really very good. There are projectors in some of the classrooms only.
Hostel Facilities
There are double sharing rooms in hostels. A study table ,bed and cupboard is provided by them . The meals are good better than most of the hostels. Hostels are provided on the basis of jee mains ranks . They are quite affordable its just rs 6k per semester. The mess bill is according to the meals you had in the month .
Admission
You can get into enginnering courses through JEE mains only . Jac chandigarh counseling is there for getting admissions in Chandigarh colleges. There are three exams in a semester. One end sem and two mid sems. The best of the two mid sems is added in the final result .The exams are of moderate difficulty level.
Faculty
Some of the teachers are highly educated, some are doing phd and some are assistant professors . They are expertise in their subjects. Whenever we need them they are always available And helps us in every possible way.
