Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Many top tech companies visit in my college like Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, tcs, Infosys, Samsung, cisco, etc. The highest package is about 41 LPA which is off-campus. The average package is 7LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA.90-95 percent of students got placed in CSE branch.

After the 7th semester student is eligible for campus placement. Top recruiters are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Samsung, Deloitte and many more approx 50-60 companies visit. The highest Package 41 LPA and Average Package is 7LPA. Around 90% of students in cse gets placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in top companies.

The placement of our college is quite good. for cse and its branch, almost 88-90 percent student gets placed with an average package of 6-7 lakhs. The highest package was 42 lakhs offered by google and the lowest package goes to 3 lakh in cse.

I chose this course due to my immense interest in Computer science engineering. The faculty is pretty descent,if there are 50 students per class, number of faculty staff would be around 2.They were pretty descent qualified and teaching method was pretty appreciable.Exams used to occur almost with gap of 2 months and weren't very difficult.

We usually have internships drives from 5th semester . Many Companies start visiting the campus from 5th semester onwards. They take written exams and then a small interview and then finalize the candidate list who are shortlisted.Some of the companies also give PPO (Pre Placements Offers to the students.Companies like Microsoft , Amazon , TCS , Wipro and many more come to the college for placements. According to 2021 statistics 286 students were placed on campus with an average package of 7 LPA and the highest package being 31 LPA.Over 5 students bagged an annual package of INT 30 Lakh from Amazon .Top Recruiters included Amazon,Goldman & Sachs, American Express etc. A total of 50-65 companies visit the campus for placements. There are good placement records specially for CSE and IT branches.

placements are awesome here being affiliated with Punjab university (tier -1) we have a decent placement in uiet chandigarh (CSE). companiers for providing internships start coming from 5th semester onwards. Companies visited are - Microsoft, Amazon,infosys ,bharti airtel, etc. Infosys provides 70+ offers as per recent records.

I have an interest in computer science and engineering because I want to know how the process is done in any device using coding. All facilities are PhD holder and the teaching methods is outstanding. The student ratio is about 40:20. Two semesters exams and 4 minor exams.

Placements records are fine enough. In the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies started visiting in the 7th semester only and as placement coordinators, we also had a responsibility to search for such companies which can visit our college and provide jobs to our students or internship. Companies Visited: Sap, bebo technologies, Maruti, Newgen, Infosys, Accenture. Some of the companies are mass recruiter and they offered jobs to the average 100 students. There are also companies which consider only 3 4 employees which are well enough to crack their interview process. 70% of students got placed at that time and this is the continuous record of the Punjabi university patiala to offer enough jobs to the students. Highest Package: 20 lacs Cred (off-campus placement). Least Package: 4 lacs (Infosys).

Placements here are not so good as only 50-60% of student got placed in CSE branch with the highest package of 15 lakhs and average around 6 lakhs so didn't expect too much if you are here for this. It will be the best choice if you planning for further studies.

The placement of CSE is impressive highest placement this year was 15 lac but in the upcoming two, three years it may go upto 40 to 50 lakh. 80 to 90 % of students getting placed every year in CSE. For more updates on placement related you can check the LinkedIn profile of CCET.
