Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement of UIET is very good. In 2022, the highest package is 45 lakh (on campus) and 50 lakh(off campus). The overall average package is 7 lakh(all departments). If you can't get placement on campus then you can apply for off-campus.

1:25 is the ratio of faculty: to students. I choose chemical Engineering due to my own interest and one of the finest placements of this college in the north India region in the chemical engineering field. Faculty here are highly educated and well recognised. 2 of our faculties are in the top 2% list of scientists in the world. Exams here are of moderate level and one can easily score well by just studying one week before the exam.

After the 6th sem, companies started to hire students, if you have more than 7.5 cgpa then u r eligible to sit in placement. ExxonMobil, reliance, Honeybee, DCM Shri ram, Cipla, Sun Pharma, etc, many companies that come here provide a decent package .in 2021 highest package is 17 LPA and the average is 6lpa. in 2019 placement is 90%, but during COVID it comes down, now increasing exponentially to about 60-70% in 2021, and for 2022 is ongoing. my plan is to grab a decent package.

the placement is quite good and you can say that the average package is around 7 to 8 LP and the highest package is around 19 to 20 LPA this year. The companies visiting are Deloitte Infosys tech Mahindra, josh, orbit, and many others.

After the 6th semester, u become eligible for placement and training various mnc visit our campus for placements. Google, American Express, Zs scaler, Deolite, and Samsung, are one of them, and 120offers were made which were equal to 12 lakh CTC. The highest package from our college was 36 CTC. Overall 88percent of students got placed in our college.

Around the 5th -6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the chemical companies like Reliance, ExxonMobil, Honeywell, Vedanta, and many more, give children with average of 7-8 lakh packages.

For the 6th and 8th semesters, the students are allowed to sit for campus placements Many medium-sized companies like Infosys and Wipro come to campus. The highest packages usually go for off-campus placement. An average package placed is 6-7 L/yr. After graduation goes for off-campus or higher studies via GATE. Almost 40 percent get placed

From 3 Rd year, students go for industrial training and are eligible for placements and PPO. Percentage placement of the college is something very good 60% at now and before COVID it was 98% and now it is again coming on track.

the college starts placements in the 7th sem. The companies visited are IBM, Wipro, and Cisco. The average package provided to CS and IT students is 5 lac. Almost every student got placed who opts for placements.

The placements are quite good. The placement session happens when the student completes his/her 6th semester. After that various companies including Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, ZS, and Deloitte comes and offer packages to students. The Highest package can be 30 lakhs or more and the average package is generally 5-6 lakhs. Almost 90% and above students are placed every year. I have just been placed and looking forward to working in my new job.
