Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. There are various companies that visit our college some of them are KPMG, AMAZON, DELOITTE, SAMSUNG, AMERICAN EXPRESS, TCS, INFOSYS, etc. The highest off-campus placement is 48 lakhs and on-campus is 32 lakhs. The average package is an overall of 9.52 lakh. Students of CSE and IT branch gets most of the good placement offers. Mechanical students generally prepare for the gate. Student can change their branch after 1st year with the help of the PUmEET EXAM. Almost 75 percent of the students get placed every year. My plan is to get a good placement from college or from an off-campus placement.

There was a considerable rise in average CTC this year compared to the previous year (about a 38% increase). Companies like Amazon, Hitachi, Samsung, L'oreal, Byjus, Citi Bank and many more top recruiters came to the UIET campus for placements. This year the average annual package was 9.52 lakhs. Not only on-campus but Students of UIET also managed to land jobs in top companies through off-campus placements. The highest Package grabbed was 56 lacs. The companies that recruited them were Google, Walmart, Flipkart, CRED, Atlassian etc.

As told by seniors some students are placed even in the sixth semester only, while most of them are placed in the seventh semester, many companies like KPMG, edurev, come to the college for placement drives. Some also get very high elite packages in off-campus placements, some got placed in amazon too. The average package for cs/it branches is around 6-7 lakhs. I look forward to a package above average package and getting placed in a well-reputed company.

the placement was good in 2021 almost 8 to 9 lakhs on average and the highest was 38 lakhs. this year placement dropped and it's ongoing and companies come every month. companies set CGPA criteria to be in placement rounds.

Students here are getting placed as soon as they reach the fourth year basically there is a special training and placement cell which helps in the placement of the students also it has improved the overall placement record of the campus and basically, in CSE branch almost 98% students are getting place every year and the overall campus placement record is around 85% the highest package is offered by the Josh technologies group of around 17.85 lakhs per year and the average package of CSE company is around 8 to 9 lakhs per year

Campus placements are good here and rising every year. The average package has risen to 8 lacs while the highest was around 32 lacs on campus. About 80% of students get placements from here. Every year, companies like KPMG, TCS, American express, policy bazaar, etc. visit the campus.

Being a government college, UIET faculty is all Ph.D. and has a good experience in real-world projects too. Students to faculty ratio are good. In a semester there are 3 exams that are not so difficult to clear.

Placements are quite good here . almost all students of CSE and IT get placed in tech companies. Other branch students are also placed in both tech and non tech companies. For being a student to get placed he/she must have cgpa above 7.5.

The college offers decent placements to the students with an average annual package of 8-9 LPA. Most of the students sitting for placements get placed at about 90%. Companies like American Express, Deloitte, Hashedin, KPMG, Schneider Electric, and ZS Associates visit the campus for placements.
