- Here the faculty is very nice they are ready help when students need there help
- Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches
- Many scholarships like fcc, nsp and others are student welfare related and do help the students alot.
Dislikes
- Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. my fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as i didn't receive any scholarship or anything.
- The hostel facility is not that great, there is a food problem in terms of taste and water problem in terms of hygiene, there are some issues with the internet also.
- The attendance criteria is really strict and the behaviour of the professors are not good

- The hectic schedule from 8-5, the classrooms are not air conditioned which makes summer classes very stressful and tired.
- 75% attendance criteria is also a pain in students life
- At last the mess food quality it sucks, but after all we fantastic complain its a MESS

Studebts from 3rd can get internship and from 4rd year they can get placement too,
the placement scenario of the college is great as compared to north eastern NITs,
The avg package ECE students get is 18L and if you are talented enough sky is the limit

- NIT silchar has one of the beautiful campus of our country as it is also ranked number 1 nit in terms of greenery and cleaniness.
- Campus life is also not much hectice and we enjoy our hostel life too. academic pressure depends on every individual
Dislikes
- Hostel and mess are not that good. hygine nd mantainance is very poor there. Rooms are.small for 3 students and food quality is also very poor.
- The locality of our college is not good. no.major outlet is near our college and also we have to go in town for our shoppings.

from 7th sem companies start coming in our campus for placements.
many companies visit out college as its a NIT like google , amazon , aws , microsoft, paytm, accenture , cognizant, adobe, de shaw, morgan ,byjus , hcl , infosis , oyo, sony, deloite,arcesium , bookmyshow and many more. Around 165 companies visit out college for the same. the hisghest on campus package was offered 80 lakhs per annum to the a computer science student and 14.5 lakhs per annum was our average package offered. overall around 90% students are placed every year.
i am also planning to.sit for IT placements and then i will.prepare for IES

- The indoor sports facilities , the badminton courts.
- Placement and research opportunities is very good .
- Talking about the size of the campus it is very huge , can be explored, and the digital library.
Dislikes
- The medical facility is very bad , doctor seems not so qualified and basic medicine are also not available. There is no 24/7 medical facility.
- The dispensary only opens for few hours and Doctors are available only for specific timing .
- Maintenance of the campus is very bad , it can be improved .
Placement Experience:
The placement is great in NIT SILCHAR .Companies are made available for placements at the end of 6th semester .
Companies such as Goldman sacs , Wipro , microsoft , Amazon etc are there for placements.
Last year 2022 the highest package was 83 lac given to a CSE student and the average pakage offered is between 11- 19 lac.
The percentage of students getting placed is above 75%.
