- It offers a great placement after the course completion, companies like microsoft, amazon google, flipkart and other companies like goldman sachs come to recruit new freshers in their companies and even offer internships as well.
- The fests conducted in our college are worth enjoying and marvelous talent is encouraged.
- No fees hike policy.cost to study is a bit high for a government organisation but it's worth it.scholarship opportunities financial assistance and job opportunities are very satisfactory over here.
Dislikes
- The scholarship availability should not be below 5 lakh.. it should be a larger number beacuse 5 lakh income is lower income than a lower middle class family.
- The faculty advisor is a very rude and strict person who doesn't understand the student's problems.
- Placements for lower branches are not that good and being a remote area more companies are not coming to college

Placement Experience:
From the third semester we were eligible for placement we got about 20 companies including coaching institutes providing the package of 4 - 7 lakhs about 70 percent of the students got placed others opted for higher studies

- Campus is soo beautiful and very large size
- Environment is soo cool and well cleaned.
- Faculty are helpful and well educated also.
Dislikes
- Hostel rooms are soo small and unfurnished also.
- Mess food charges are high and sometimes tastes bad.
- Transport charges are very high and have less tourist places.
Placement Experience:
Students can apply for campus placements from first semester itself. But most of the companies demands for final year students.
The average package was around 8-9 lpa .
Almost 80% students got placement in my department.
I will pursue PhD after the degree.

- the mess food is not justified with prize range
- the connectivity with air is not good no flight for delhi ,banglore ,mumbai
Placement Experience:
placement is good in nit rourkela .nearly 99% of the student applied in on campus placement they get a good paying job,nearly every student get a job of rupee 12 lakh and highest package is 54lakh ab company amazon webservice

- Hostel. Gym . Swimmming pool . Day night canteen . Table tenis tables. Badminton court.
- Academic section , multiple departments , nice research facility. Good faculties .
- Fest, 😁 enjoyments, fun events , institute counselling service.
Dislikes
- No gap in exams , there should be at least one day gap between two exams .. but most of the time 4 exams get over in a week.
- Professor interaction with the students are not well enough to care about students mental health.
- Unavailability of pure veg canteen in the campus .
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester.
I don't really know about offers and companies as of now but on the website one can check it all out.
Highest package : 40 lac in cse branch .
Avg 22 lpa in cse.
50 percent students will placed if maintain good cgpa.
I will persue higher studies after this .

- Lengthy lectures, gym facilities not available in all hostels
- Extracurricular activities were mandatory instead of choice
Placement Experience:
During 7th semester everyone eligible for placement on campus or off campus as well
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, filpkart, I heard that during my times it was 39 offers
More than 90. % students does get placed if there are just follow the flow
My plan is to do PhD

- Inspiring seniors and anti ragging strict policies
- A lot of opportunity in all field and a great exposure
Dislikes
- Unfriendly behavior of faculty and administration
- There is no nearby airports that make transportation difficult
- Mess food is not up to mark, there should be improvement
Placement Experience:
A lot of companies visited every year for placement including Google flipkart myntra tcs and many more. placement percentage is above 90 percentage. The average package will be around 15 lakh but the highest reach up to 50 lakh per annum.

- The lab are too much advanced they provide all the equipment which is essential for for the students
- The education is really very good in this college the professor are very helpful

- The zone rule which created by the students which is not good at all

In the 4th semester
MNC companies like Amazon Wipro and Infosys and a lot of multinational and national company
The highest package is about 45 lakhs per annum
About 75+ % of students get placed
My plans after my degree will go for higher studies because I have a great interest in research

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I much interest in it. Student faculty ratios is good as per availability. Professor are available most of the time. They are all very qualified and are hired as per the minimum requirements criteria of the college.
Exams are semester-wise and happen biannually. It's difficult to pass the exams if you don't study properly throughout the year.

Remarks:
They have best hostel facility,food quality is very good ,Each and every hostel in each floor there will be 2-3 washing machines , aquaguard .Now I came to academic section-In my program there were 20 facultiesAll are best. If you feel any trouble to understand topic they will help you beside that they will tell a lot of things which will help you in your upcoming life.Admission process is very smooth because your faculty advisor will take all responsibility. So, No problem will arise at admission time.

Remarks:
College takes decisions firmly and we do not need to worry about them, this helps us to progress with our academic work. The rules and regulations are all fine and I never had problems with them.

A friend at NIT Rourkela gave me a detailed review of her college the last time she visited me. Here are some highlights from her descriptive experience
- NIT Rourkela has a huge, serene, and well-secured campus.
- The institute has diverse clubs that promote extracurricular activities and their performance is better than most clubs of other engineering colleges.
- Decent Internet speed is offered and the Dc++ is well maintained.
- The hostels are well-maintained and decked with all the basic amenities one could ask for.
- Students are actively involved in sports such as gymming and swimming.
- The faculties are a mixed bag. Some are underqualified and lethargic while some motivate you to become a better person.
- The institute boasts of an extensive entrepreneurship culture.
- The institute needs to work on increasing its alumni base and the level of fests it organizes given the huge income the institute generates.
- The placement scenario varies from branch to branch. It's decent for branches like CS while pathetic for others.
- Rourkela does not have any places to explore and also lacks flight connectivity.
- The city of Rourkela is one of the cleanest places so hygiene is not an issue here.
