Fees and Financial Aid:

Last year the mess charges has increased twice almost. In my department the fees was around 40000 per sem including mess .but it got increased in last sem now it is around 60000. There is waiver in tution fees of SC/ST candidates.

All about NIT Rourkela

Dislikes

No gap in exams , there should be at least one day gap between two exams .. but most of the time 4 exams get over in a week.

Fee structure is not that much difficult to understand .. As of mine .. In int. Msc in mathematics I have to pay 113000 for first year and then 88000 for the consecutive years. Scholarships one can avail are central level , state level or more. Along with that institutes alumni network provide us some scholarship by alumni networks. Complete cost of education for 5 years will be around 6 lacs.

A good college

The fee was not much more in comparison to another course. per semester tuition fee is around 7500 which was reasonable. There are no college-specific scholarships but colleges inform about various scholarships from time to time.
