NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placement is amazing here. Almost every year top companies visit the college. Students are eligible to get placement or internship opportunities from the second year. Almost 50 to 60 percent of students get internships or placement.

NSIT is a state govt college located in dwarka, Delhi. It has now upgraded to university and now also known as NSUT. Admission in bachelor degree is based on Jee main exam rank. Because it is a state govt college it has 85% reservation for students who passed their 12th class from delhi(pin code of school must be of delhi). At my time the branches for admission in BE were Computer Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Communication and Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing Process and automation engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

The placement eligibility basically starts from 3rd year or 6th semester. Before that you need to do internship for a semester for grades. Basically in 5th semester you need to do an internship. Last year a total of 400 companies visited NSUT. And their packages varied from 3-5 lac per annum to 50-60 lac per annum. The placement rate in NSUT is very high. Higher than IIT delhi. In my branch ECE. The placement rate is 95%. Although it varies in lower branches. But NSUT has a good environment of coding. So many lower branch students learns coding and applies for tech or software companies and can recieve a package as good as a CS student.

We all know that any city is known for its placement scenario most of the students to get a decent job from NSIT even on campus you get internships so you are there is no issue for placements ya but you if you are in a core branch-like mechanical or lower branch then you might face any problem with placement but if you have a good skill set a so nothing is have to achieve. The highest package offered by the Microsoft last year and I guess it was an international package around 1 CR.

From 7 semesters students are eligible for placements and there are more than 170 companies that visited last year. The highest package is 1.2 crore and the lowest package is 6 lacs. There are a total of 320+ offers were made. In tech branches, 100 % of students get placed and in core branches, 88% of students get placed. I plan to get a job in college after getting the degree.

Intership after semester 4. Placement after semester 6. The majority of students are placed. The highest package is 1 Cr. The average is 12-20 LPA, more high for software branches. The main role is software development, consultancy, analyst, core jobs. My plan is to get placement.

Placements are good for tech highest 1 crore, average 17-18 lakhs for non-tech highest 20-22 lakhs, average 8-12 lakhs companies included Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Bain, Co Z Associates, Axxela etc. Internships opportunities are pretty good.

By 6th sem students are eligible for placements. Till now 4 companies have made their way Including Persistent technology, TCS, cognizant, HCL. Highest package - 9 LPA Lowest package - 3.5 LPA Average package - 4.8 LPA Till now the companies have just started to announce their exams. Job offering procedure hasn't started. My plans are to get a job after the degree on-campus placement.

As the major is BBA, we don't have the choice to choose subjects, we have six subjects in each semester to study. The faculty is really good and helping, with a Ph.D. degree from a reputed institute. Exams are conducted six times a year as ST and LT.

You will become eligible to sit for placement just after your 6th-semester exam. I can't tell you the name of each and every company because almost all companies visit NSUT. The highest package is provided by Atlansian (51 lac pe annum) and the average package is about 10 LPA. Almost 100 percent of students get placement unless they want to study higher or preparing for UPSC. I got 2 job offer from campus and I will join one of them as a software developer.
