NSIT

NSIT is a state govt college located in dwarka, Delhi. It has now upgraded to university and now also known as NSUT. Admission in bachelor degree is based on Jee main exam rank. Because it is a state govt college it has 85% reservation for students who passed their 12th class from delhi(pin code of school must be of delhi). At my time the branches for admission in BE were Computer Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Communication and Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing Process and automation engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Course curriculum has now been revamped and looks as per industrial demand. Faculties and academics are also good as per the standard of a state govt college. As there is one more campus added which was earlier a separate college the overall quality of faculty tends to reduce. Some faculties we very well qualified and but some were not interested in teaching or in research. Some guest teachers used to come for some subjects. They were also not well qualified to teach engineering students.

Placement opportunities are plenty for those interested in Coding and Analytics. Few companies also come for Electronics like Texas Instruments, Western Digital, Qualcomm, Nvidia etc. More than 100 companies com for placements but mostly for software and analytics profile. These companies are open for every branch.

Campus is big and green. Lots of opportunities are available for those who want to explore. Main fest is conducted in the month of March. Other technical fest and competitions are also there which is conducted throughout the year. Some sports tournament are also organised.

There were No Group Discussion, Interview or a separate written test for bachelor degree admissions. Admissions in BE program were purely based on All India Rank in the JEE MAIN examination conducted By CBSE at my time.
