Course Curriculum Overview

5

I didn't choose this course because of the curriculum but because i wanted to get into development. The curriculum will prepare you for exactly everything related to Computer Engineering, it will give you a headstart in all topics and you can choose what to learn specifically later in last 2 years I think the fact that we have to make physical lab files is shit, some teachers don't get it, also that we should be allowed to attend any profs class, and not what i was assigned Exams Happen twice every semester and they are medium difficulty, 6/10, exams should test you a bit , so i think they are great

Internships Opportunities

5

Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Walmart, Myntra , and mamy more for Software Development Engineer. Usually they take an online Test , codin round, and then interviews depending on the companies, Technical Interview and HR, the number of these depends on the companies

Placement Experience

5

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Fees and Financial Aid

First year : 2,15,000 Second year: 2,35,000 Third year: 2,55,000 Fourth year: 2,75,000 The above fees includes everything that is msotly compulsory, you have to pay that and the fees structure changes every year. It's the same fees for all branches of BTech Some level of Scholarships are available but are very vague as to what the criteria is, some scholarships are 10k.

Campus Life

5

Our college Festivals are well known in Delhi itself, Yuvaan and Engifest are one of the best cultural fests, Invictus is one of the Tech fests that are organised in our College, There is a very big Libra and its easily accessible and you can get most books you will need for any subject, There are sports team of our college that you can apply for, like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Badminton etc. a Sports event or fest also happens once every year. Joining Social groups or clubs is essential for connections and guidance in your interested fields, you might get quite the guidance, one of our societies won an international competition recently in Michigan

Hostel Facilities

5

First year - Its a flat type residency, so you have 2 rooms for 3 ppl, a bathroom, Kitchen, and Toilet for all 3 ppl, no shared bathroom or Toilets, A Cupboard, Table , Bed Other 3 years, There are shared toilets and Bathroom and No Kitchen, everything else is the same , tho in Dr.APJ hostel you get AC and Blower for Summer and winter respectively, although centralised. Meals are good compared to any other college, Menu changes a lot, every year the menu is different according to the demands of the students Registration process is easy ,you have to get on a website and fill in the details, hostel will be allocated to you and then you visit the hostel and verify 3 documents, the allotment letter, the website page being printed and 2 photos

Admission

I applied to this college for the exposure i get in this college compared to other, NSUIT is in the middle of Delhi but they have way too many exams and attendance and strictness like a school, i needed freedom which i only got in this college with same or better education and placement criterias. I was able to clear the criteria for all the colleges i applied for but i chose this one The admission process is simple, you have to follow the JAC guidelines after JEE, cutoff would be 99% and above for my course in particular, which is Computer Science or Computer Engineering , the admission process is simple, you have to get your documents verified once and you are done

Faculty

5

The Faculty student ratio is okay ,idk the exact number but most classes have different teachers , they don't repeat, and most teachers are nice. The Faculty is very approachable actually, any help you need regarding education they will help The Faculty i hated was Indu ma'am, everyone hates her for how negative she is, she doesn't encourage pll rather puts them down. I liked all my other professors msotly. Two exams for each subject, mid sems and end sems, they are fairly easy, medium difficulty, some teachers do like to test the students sanity by making extremely difficult exams but if you do prepare early even those are easy Most students pass the exams, some fail cause they don't come to class or exams. The course is very relevant to rhe curriculum, it used to be bad but they made is so much better

Night Life

5

Gyms start from 6am to 10 am and then 4pm to 8pm The night life goes crazy, the beauty of out campus shines in the night so if you are feeling down or need to feel refreshed just go on a walk and appreciate mature, there are night cafes too in college so you can get something to eat till 2 am atleast. Hostel life are great , you have the freedom to roam around the campus at any time of the night with friends, sing songs and just enjoy, while keeping some boundaries as to not disturb other tenants and also staying away from Girls Hostel, unfortunately this all doesn't apply to girls as the have to be in Hostel by 11pm

We have to understand and go for training as per the direction of our enhanced cell guidance. Companies take a lot of things into account apart from scores and this is where it becomes inevitable for us to go for it. Top level companies are the ones that gets along and gives nearly 90% of the students.

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.
