Remarks
I applied for almost every leading college in India. I got into all of them. The best options I had were the colleges of JAC Delhi(Computer Science) and IIT Bombay(Engineering Physics). I chose Computer Science at NSUT because of its strong Alumni network and placement stats for the COE branches. I dropped IIT Bombay because I had no interest in the course being offered to me and I wanted to pursue my career in the Computer Science field only. I could never imagine myself doing research in the Physics dept. The minimum marks required to get this branch in NSUT were 99 percentile in JEE Mains. The minimum age required is 17 years. The admission process was held online so there aren't many details to tell about.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the faculty consists of rude professors, but many profs are nice as well. The course curriculum is the worst part of the college(still better than that of DTU) which can be ignored easily though. Per class 70 students are allotted to a single faculty. Most of the faculties are Mtechs or PHDs. Passing the exams is easy, term exams are very punctually taken.
Internships Opportunities
Sprinklr came and gave 2L/month stipend to 5 interns. very good internship offers are given and most of the big tech giants give a visit. But everyone doesn't get an intern on campus because internship seats are very few.
Placement Experience
Top-Notch. Comparable to IITs. The percentage of placement for the COE branch is 100% so you know what you are looking at. An absolute excellency. All companies visit the campus. Students become eligible for placement as soon as they pass 3rd year. All the package-related info remains confidential.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 2Lakhs per annum for every year. The fee hike policy is very well moderated. There are CVSPK scholarship opportunities in the college as well. A student loan can be easily availed when enrolled in NSUT. Job opportunities are way better than any college in India.
Campus Life
An annual fest named moksha is held every time during Feb/March. It is a highly funded cultural fest. people from all over India. all types of sport activities and facilities are present. A huge library is also there if you need any books. best societies are there, be it any field of work. large campus. high-tech classrooms for the first years are also there.
