NSUT West Campus Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As I am a 2024 graduate so the IT market was down we all know about the recession. The support provided by college was very average. you cannot depend on them. You have to go for offcampus Placements and prepare for them.

student are applied on intership for first semistar and for placement 5th semister. lots of company are visited on campus and lots of opportunites for student. Avg package are 17 lakh per annum for cse branch and 2022 highest placement are 80 lakh per annum .

Good placement, With a high of 17 lpa and an average of 7 LPA. 90% + placement. Good teacher support for placements. Max number of companies come to get placement Good support Placement offices Good for every student

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc come to college. Some students get a package of 13-14 Lakhs and most get a package of 3-4 Lakhs last year. The percentage of students getting placements is normal but it is increasing in the last 2 years due to it getting merged from NSUT. The package depends on the student's performance how many skills he knows.

The previous year's trend was that most of the students pursuing the course appear for higher studies or govt jobs and the rest who appeared for placement didn't use to get better on-campus packages. But this trend has changed drastically in recent years and students started getting decent packages and the percentages of students placed have also shot up exponentially. Companies are also visiting the campus for internships now.

Students become eligible for campus placements from their 6th semester. As internships are started from 3rd year onwards. There are lot of companies that are participating in placement process, namely, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Indiamart, etc. Package is based on company to company or post by post from 3 lacs - 15 lacs. As 10-15% students are placed in a class because it was totally depend on their skills or placement process which is very competitive. My plans is to acquire a job after completion of graduation no matter how was the package but one should have to focus on getting job irrespective of its package to increase his/her confidence level.

This college didn't have a good placement before but from the past 3 to 4 years we are getting a hike in a placement as well. right now the highest package received last year by some of the students from the Information Technology course was 12 lakh per annum. I know it still certainly has now we are the part of NSUT.

1. Government College2. Fees was affordable when we took admission in 2017 3. That time attendance was not an issue so we got lots of time to focus on extra skills like Competetive Programming, DSA, Placement Prep4. Now the placement( 2020 onwards) placemnts will be too good.In our batch service based companies were visiting campus.5. College give many many scholarships ( Merit based, Excellence based, EWS section)

College management are very helpful and fulfilling their duties perfectly.

This is a government engineering college and annual fees is less than others. In this college we get Information technology branch easily. Which is not possible in other government engineering colleges.
