Pros and Cons of "NSUT WEST CAMPUS"

Likes

Placements are good in this college, if you work hard you will definitely acheive heights
Teachers are qualified and helpful, peer group is also great, seniors are also very helpful
Connectivity to main campus is very good, students keep on travelling from west to main for societies and hackathons etc.

Dislikes

The campus and college life is not very good. Also the college is located on the ouskirts
Very few branches are there in the college, MEEV, GI and Civil
Attendance criteria is strict here. You have to maintain 75% attendance to be eligible for mid sem and end sem exams

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visit the main campus for internships, also one of our senior got internship at Apple, that was the major highling this year for Geoinformatics branch on the placement chart. Companies that came for internships were apple, attlasian, microsoft, goodle, adobe and many other big names. Make projects based on QGIS if you want to go for core based job opportunities, as DRDO, ISRO also came for intern, and many students made to it.

College Life in My College (NSUT)

Likes

Thing like to me is that it provide the best teaching experience by the respective professors and things get easy to understandable.
In this west campus lecture room are very well maintained from others 2 campus of the College.
Here I want so that quality of Labs are good but need some extra maintenance then the learning of experience will become instrustable.

Dislikes

Here college is small and are round in infrastructure that is start from entry point and back to same place due round in structure
I didn't like college infrastructure that it is very old building and need to be repolised again and also canteen is also very small not maintain hiygene very well.
One major reason to dislike is that college location is very wrong because it situated in village are where roads are mudy and Rocky and create difficulty during rainy time so this need to be improved take 3 hour to me reach the College from my home.

I Have no idea because I am just in 2nd year when I can to 3rd year then can tell you about internships and stipend because internships and stipend comes in the 3rd year onwards and how they offers then I will get to know that so this time sorry for this.

Everything you need to know about NSUT WEST CAMPUS!

Likes

The college has a very mediocre class rooms, but since this year smart class rooms are being developed which is equipped with large TV's, mics, speakers, projectors,etc.
Our college also emphasie on sport activites and host 2-3 sports event every year.
The effictiveness of placements is not very much, very few students are placed in companies which offer 12-15 LPA.

Dislikes

In first year, there are many guest faculty teachers which have no idea of teaching. No proper notes or support material is provided by such teachers and the student has to look by himself.
Even though the college promotes sports still we have a combined basketball court and badminton court and that to of smaller size than the standard court size.

Internships Opportunities:

Our college does offer internship opportunities, but because I am in first year so I can provide with the roles offered and the requied project tasks for the same. :( Otherwise the companies which offer job packages also offer internship opportunities to the students.

Nsut and insides

Likes

Big campus and infrastructure which is very beautiful
Crowd of nsut and different kind of people
Library as it is my favourite place to study and also chill

Dislikes

Fees of nsut is very high which I don't like
They provide hostel accommodation to very less people so travelling everyday for more than 2 hours is very exhausting
Ther is only one canteen in campus so I think 2 -3 canteens should open in different areas of campus

Internships Opportunities:

• I am a fresher so I can't tell about intership as of now but some seniors has told me about internship so I can tell that so on projects if you are going for tech companies atleast make 3-4 projects and stipends are decent

NSUT through Covid and recession.

Likes

Great senior interaction. great atmosphere friendly Teachers and professors. college life is great.
One of the best north India cultural fest i.e MokshaInnovasion. Apart from that in sep-oct we also have a mini fest so college life is going to be great fun.
Lush green campus. You can see peacock every now and then

Dislikes

Weak TnP interactions. No proper communication.

Internships Opportunities:

Internwship opportunities would be minimum but people whoare working hard will get it some how the Brand name of NSUT will work on off campus placements for sure. so if you work hard you will be good to go.

Reality of Nsut west campus

Likes

Highly qualified teacher and lab's working staff.
Good classroom with centralised AC. Library is well maintained.

Dislikes

No hostel facility. There should hostel facility for the outside students for west campus
Teachers make it hectic by taking extra classes.
As it is nearly at Delhi's boarder so many students find it difficult to travel to college daily as it takes 2 hr approximately and hostels are a must

Internships Opportunities:

Our hod brings many internship opportunities for us. Even paid internship are also there. Most of them are government internships. Some are of NPC. There have been almost 5 to 6 intership opportunities that we have got till now which is a good number.

Infrastructure Challenges: Despite modern infrastructure, there might be occasional issues or challenges related to facilities or maintenance

Internships Opportunities:

There are many internship available in our college. Our college is connected to NSUT Main Campus Dwarka Sector 3. All opportunities are provided through them. They have well connected alumni network .

Campus are so beautiful and very attractive to nature.
Very big classes and very comfortable bench.
Teachers are so good and friendly for student.

disliked acc. to me are hostel in rooms.

Internships Opportunities:

microsoft, google, facebook ,razor and lots of very famous companies are visited and offer the job. Gives lots of opportunities to chose company acc. to their intrest and packages. its all depend on their skill and cgpa. and build our C.V is differnt and unique.

All facilities are good , computer labs are also there
Library is very good and everything is available there
Placements are good. High paying companies visits the campus for placements

Dislikes

Fees are very high as compared to the infrastructure
Guards are not cooperative . Please look into this matter
Some facilities are not good here like canteen food
