NSUT West Campus Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placements after their 6th semester. Although companies keep coming on the campus from the 5th semester itself for internships and all. Placements here are okayish as the branches offered are not so demanding and companies prefer CSE/IT students for majority of roles in the placement seaon. All big companies visit NSUT main campus and west campus students have the same opportunites to apply on the companies as the placements are centralised given you fulfill the CGPA and branch criteria.

From the 3rd year the students are become eligible for campus placement and showcase their skills to getting the placement. There are so many companies visiting the college every year apple, Microsoft, DRDO, swift, google, airforce, facebook, meta etc it is dependence on your skills and learning experience and college CG marks to get placement from oncampus company by giving interview and doing exam of specific company that you want to apply in which course you specialist. In my course it is newly launched course in which companies are offering highest package to students in previous years average package goes to 13 lac and highest package goes to 24 lac and this year average package goes to 14-15 lac and highest goes to 48 lac. In my course 60-80 % students are placing in compies all over the world.

Placements in our college isn't the best but it's better than colleges like DSEU,etc. Students from 3rd year become eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that have visited our campus are- Atlassin, samsung, cisco, adobe, amazon, etc. The highest package was 1CPA and the average is about 17.75LPA. About 70-80% students get placed.

As I am a 2024 graduate so the IT market was down we all know about the recession. The support provided by college was very average. you cannot depend on them. You have to go for offcampus Placements and prepare for them.

Form 7th sem we are eligible for the placements. Companies visited are LnT, Maruti Suzuki, Oyo, black rock, Amazon, sprinkler, Google, Microsoft, Mahindra, Tata average package is of 6 lakhs per annum and highest package has been of 3 cr , 1.5 cr. As I wanted a government job so I would prepare for the exams like ssc jee, gate , DSSSB and many more

There is great opportunity for placement in our campus. Many multi national company visit our college. Average placement in our college is around eleven lakhs per annum. Our college also provides internship.

Form 4th semester internships season starts Google, microsoft, atlassian, texas instruments ,samsung ,zomato,adobe ,bny melon ,wells fargo etc all companies visted more 1200 offers are made Highest package is 52 lpa domestic and this year no internation offer is made avg is around 12 lpa Due to recession the placement percentage dropped to 70 % normally 95 % placements take place To work for an mnc
