Course Curriculum Overview

4

• because of my rank this college was the last and best among the options I got was there left so that's the only true reason I chose this college. •only studying and mastering the curriculum cannot provide job the only reason people study is to get cgpa and sit in interviews. •Faculties should teach properly and should cover syllabus fast they should explain everything so that one can understand •i think frequency and timings are good there is no correction in that

Internships Opportunities

1

• I am a fresher so I can't tell about intership as of now but some seniors has told me about internship so I can tell that so on projects if you are going for tech companies atleast make 3-4 projects and stipends are decent

Placement Experience

3

•From 6th semester one is eligible for campus placement •a lot of tech, non tech and core companies visits the college for placement every year and they make huge amount of offers •highesr package:-1cr per annum • average package:-6lakh per annum •60% of students are getting placed from college every year •my plans after getting degree is to get placed in some big company and earn a huge amount every year and live a life a have always dreamt of

Fees and Financial Aid

•The year wise fees is 250000 and every year it increases by 10000 and in 4th year it will increase by 20000 •There is registration fees it is completely free once you enter the college but if you do not complete your registration on the day of registration then there is a few for late registration •there is no categories fees, everybody has to pay the same •scholarships are there but it all depends on luck as it takes a lot of time to provide scholarship money.

Campus Life

3

•there is a annual fest named moksha which happens in nsut which is a very popular among students and a lot of celebraties visits nsut to perform in moksha •course content is available in library so I think it is a good thing about nsut •in terms of faculties and technological provision nsut is good •so in 1 semester from 8 semesters one students have to ppt for either sports or yoga and do this activities which is also a good thing about nsut • in nsut there is societies for everything example music, dance, drama, etc and only bad thing about these societies are that they are not provided funds from college for even there travel expenses to perform in different colleges and different cities and students give there own money to go and perform

Admission

•In jac 3rd round I got igdtuw which is also a tier 1 college but not better than nsut so when I got nsut ice in jac 5th round I was really happy as it is a Delhi's tier 1 college and it's alumini is also very good like aman dhattarwal and more •for admission one has to give jee main exam and then apply for jac counselling and there is a fees for giving jee mains exams around 800-1000 as well for jac counselling around 1000-1200 and you can check the cutoff for jee main exam as per your reservation and categories

Faculty

2

•there is one teacher for 90 students and this 1:90 ratio is really bad I think atleast 1:45 ratio should be there to guide each and every student •some faculties are very good at their job but some just does not know how to teach •rida mam who is faculty of english. She never even used to smile in class and she was really rude although she had a deep knowledge in her subject but never ever talked nicely with students • there are 3 types of exams in each semester. First is class test and second is mid sems and third is end sems and some other assignments, projects are also there in each and every semester. • there is a huge amount of people fails in exams in each and every semester • see course is just theoretical mostly and it is not at all relevant in getting jobs even faculties says that

Night Life

2

•gym and library gets closed by 6pm every night which is a bad thing about nsut • hostel life is mid not that fancy and fun as this I have heard from my friend who lives in hostel •campus life is fun as campus is really big •college canteen, park in infront of tnp and lake

Other Applied Colleges

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women -[IGDTUW] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical & Automation Engineering)

I got nsut in jac further rounds which is better than igdtuw

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.
