Remarks

The admission process takes place on the basis of your Jee main score/rank. Eligibility of course is that the student is an individual of India and successfully attempted Jee main entrance exam. I took admission in 2019 in Ch. Brahm Prakash Govt Engg college through IP University but now it was linked with Nsut called Nsut west campus. There is also different cut offs of jee the main rank as a reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because of my interest in Information technology and also IT industry can be most useful in the future. The approximate ratio of faculty to the student is maybe 3:8 approximately. Teachers are very friendly and well-literated teachers. About their qualifications, many of the teachers are also PhD holders and some are also guest faculty. Exams were held semester basis with a frequency of 6 months semester-wise. The difficulty is based on your studies. There is no need to study the whole syllabus for passing the exams but you have to pass in all subjects in the semester to pass the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc hire for internships and also for jobs. It's easy to say that project was a success but you have to note all the outcomes and details which can be asked by the interviewer in your placement and internship interview.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements from their 6th semester. As internships are started from 3rd year onwards. There are lot of companies that are participating in placement process, namely, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Indiamart, etc. Package is based on company to company or post by post from 3 lacs - 15 lacs. As 10-15% students are placed in a class because it was totally depend on their skills or placement process which is very competitive. My plans is to acquire a job after completion of graduation no matter how was the package but one should have to focus on getting job irrespective of its package to increase his/her confidence level.

Fees and Financial Aid

Required fees are very genuine as compared to courses that they provide. The scholarship is also provided in my college as financial assistance scheme by the government, namely, "Merit cum means scholarship".

Campus Life

4

I have seen one fest in my duration of course due to corona lockdown. The name of the annual fest is Anugoonj and It is conducted annually in the month of February. There are a lot of books in a very large space library. Our college is also known for biggest Library and required books contained in it. Classroom are also good with fans, ventilation and cctv camera. There is also a vast ground with a number of sports activities which is used to do practice for Sports meet which was also conducted annually. There is also a college site, you can search it by nust west campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
