I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

Likes

The campus was very big and we had so many things to explore
There were many clubs so we could join them and work on our personalities
The college fests were very good and we enjoyed a lot

Dislikes

The classes were super far from many hostels so we had to walk
The administration was very strict so there was strict in times
Too many classes were theree back to back

Placement Experience:

The placement is pretty good if you study nicely and have knowledge about the things going around in the market and if you are well skilled then you can easily get a job here with and avg pay of 9-10 lac per annum

BIT MESRA : Dream of many students

Likes

the placement scenario is good here with good facilities
the classes are well mainatined and properly air conditioned
the washrooms of academic building are well maintained

Dislikes

the management is really very poor and poorly managed
the security is very poor in boys hostel no cctvs
there is only one gaurd for a very large hostel with 500+ students

Placement Experience:

from 7th sem students gets eligible for the placement.. the companies are isro , larsen and turbo , jaypee , adani , itc trebeni , avtec , acc , bharti infratel , blue star , ntpc , crompton , cummins and many other companies the placement percentage is around 61% in production and in cse the 75%,, my plans are doing job after the placement is to accumulate capital for few years and after that i want to start my own business..

REALITY OF BIT MESRA

Likes

The main infrastructure of this college is good enough
The placement is nice compared to many NITs and IIITs

Dislikes

The college is far away from the main city so little bit of accomodation issue.

Reality of BIT mesra

Likes

It is known for its strong legacy in technical education. It consistently ranks among top engineering colleges in India.
The average placement for CSE is around 17L pa with highest package of 54L

Dislikes

It is far from the main city Ranchi so little difficult for shopping or entertainment areas.
It has a rigorous academic environment with a heavy focus on exams and assignment.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd years you can apply for different internship as well as in campus internships. Beside during 3rd year many companies come to recruit students. In CSE the average is around 17.5L And highest goes up to 58L pa. Top recruiter are tata, Microsoft, amazon etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course ciriculum is outdated and old. Needs to be updated. Exams are of average difficulty. Curriculum does not prepare us for real world industry. I personally chose aiml because of interest . It is a recently introduced branch. 2k24 are the 3rd batch of aiml students.

BIT Mesra- Is institute good for research?

Likes

All faculties are well experienced and doctorate
Campus is open and greenish with river flowing by 3 sides
All shops are available inside the campus including banks

Dislikes

Mess bill is always over the amount deposited
Fellowship amount for Ph.D is too less to afford
Ph.D scholars are not respected as they should be

The campus us very beautiful as lot's of greenery is there
Mathematics department teachers are very supportive in every manner they try their best to support the child
Labs of bit Mesra are well equipped and highly advanced some of the labs like physics a d chemistry labs are more advanced than IITs and nits

Dislikes

Adminstration and the college staffs are not at all cooperative they don't consider aur listen to an individual's issue. Adminstration is very bad in bit Mesra one of the worst college
Mess food is horrible in bit Mesra they don't keep the dinning area hygienic. Neither they cover their body parts while serving and cooking
All the branches are not treated same way the students of cse are considered the elite class and the the students who are in lower branches are considered as a commodity

Semester 5 which means third year of the college students become eligible for the intership and in their final year that is fourth year placement get started This visa came which gave a package of around 18 lpa CTC and 6 students got placed Percentage of placement are very poor this year I will go for the higher education

Sports facilities provided by college and opportunity.good for sportspersons
College infrastructure mainly in circuital branch
Events .and teachers support during semester exam . practising qstns

Dislikes

Old syllabus like workshop classess.some mess foods
Language problem like most teacher are bengali
Hostel rooms are quite small and two beds in same room

Out of 10, I will rate 7 because 1st year courses apart from maths and physics are of no use in engineering when doing workshops like the August course starts. In September quiz and mid sem in oct started. latest syllabus needed to be built

The college has a strong alumni network which helps the students.
The college has a vast campus with all necessary facilities.

The college is situated very far away from main city.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are pretty good. Students generally become eligible after 3rd year completion for placements. Some of the companies visiting our college are Microsoft, Google , Tata Steels , TCS , Samsung, etc . The highest package was 51 lpa on campus and average package is around 8 lpa. Almost 75% of the eligible students get placed . I am thinking of pursuing MBA after my degree.

Campus : The greenery and large area of campus is very impressive
Alumni network of this college is very strong and helpful
Senior Junior interactions are very helpful and friendly here

Quality of mess food is really worst here
Hectic course structure is not good for students
Administration is very stict and apply too many restriction

My course curriculum is not very relevent as the company requirements are either not taught or taught late. But still it is little advanced and relevent than other. Size of course might be too long and hectic.
