- No night life since it is in ranchi city.
- College canteen also closes around 9p.m.
- Girls and boys ratio is 20:80, but if you are single you will feel jealous.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum are quite similar to IIT KGP. like IMSC MNC is same in bit m and iit KGP. Of course Aicte approves all the curriculum. But college provides extra workshops for latest demanding courses which is very beneficial.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is available for students from 2 nd and 3rd year. Students who have skills can grap this golden opportunity. Companies like google, Flipkart, Amazon etc also provide PPOs. Approx 1:10 students grabs this golden opportunity.
Placement Experience
BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly tution fee for Imsc mathematics and computing is approx 1.5 lakhs. Total course fee is 950000. They provide scholarship like GP BIRLA scholarship, e kalyan , NSP etc. Fee is increasing yearly. College provide laptop for all the students.
Campus Life
College life is great. College provide all the support. BITOSATV is main feat. PANTHEON is it's techfest which is largest in east asia. There are many clubs like ACM, 180DC, LEO, ashas etc. Some clubs also support in placements.
Hostel Facilities
There are 11 boys hostel, 2 girls hostel. Hostels are good, but you will get double sharing rooms for entire college life as per new rule. So this is good or bad depending person to person. Mess maintains hygiene and good food with bad taste.
Admission
I chose BITM because it is far better than most of the NITs . I chose MNC which is most demanding course in current scenario. This was the best I was getting in my councelling. Admission process is done by josaa and csab.
Faculty
Most of faculty are great, well educated, highly qualified, also from foreign universities etc. But physics faculty is very strict , they will punish you even if you come 5min late in class. Rest are chill prof.
Night Life
There is only one thing you will be disappointed. There is no nightlife . Colllege canteens closes after 9p.m. . Girls curfew timing is 9p.m. main city has also no night life . After 10 all the shops are closed.
