  • It was moderately difficult, I won't lie. First sem was theoretical. Second and third were more practical, with a bit of both.
  • I thought I already mentioned it; the positive was the hands-on training by BBC execs and the negative was not getting opportunities to work there.
  • We had 3-4 classes per week. From 8 to 5. 15 students in our class. 7 were Indian.

Fees

  • It was broken into four parts and was all covered by the Education loan. Total 15 lakhs; after a 50 percent scholarship, it was 7.5 Lakhs which is the minimum amount of loan you have to take. SBI covered that in four halves, in 3-month intervals.
  • Housing was 4884 GBP which we paid from home. Monthly expenses were around 200 to 250 GBP which I earned from working part-time with the Josh app (an Indian app) remotely.

  • Extremely difficult. Being a one-year course, everything is packed completely. You never get time to relax or chill. The positives about my course are that it fits someone who wants to transition from a complete tech background to management. 3 days per week, 2 sessions each day, is the class frequency. My class had approximately 40 students. around 50 percent of the class are all indian students.

Fees

  • Total course fees were 18000 GBP. 3000 GBP was an advance and a one-time payment upon attending induction. It was yearly fees. Living in sheffield and commuting to Nottingham, my travel expenses were 120 GBP per month. Rent in sheffield was 500 GBP per month. Groceries, entertainment, etc., cost another 300-400 GBP. I would say 1000 GBP per month is more than enough to live comfortably. If on a budget, we could do 800 GBP too.

  • The course was quite practical in my first year. We did a lot of group activities, group presentations, discussions and meetings as well. The difficulty was not high but the pace of the course did make me feel like I needed some extra help
  • Positive: The online portal made a lot of things easy because everything about lectures, attendance, seminars, events, etc was available on the website and the app which was in development in my first year.
  • Negative: The two hour lectures were quite daunting because of the amount of information lecturers would provide only in theory format.

Fees

  • For me, an international student, tuition fee was £11,000
  • Accommodation fees would vary based on how close to the city centre the Flat or house was located. My accommodation expenses came up to £6,000 per year. This included utility bills as well.
  • Food expenses ranged from £200 to £300 per month.
  • At Nottingham Trent University, Tuition and Accommodation fees can be paid in instalments of three months every year for the entirety of the course.
  • You also have the option of paying the full amount of the tuition and accommodation fees.
  • Monthly rent was £130 (including utility bills), food expenses £200 to £300
  • Please note! Laundry can be very costly so maybe get a bucket and hand wash if you can and/or want to save money! Using Laundry Machines (such as, Washing Machine, dryer, iron for press) costed £20 to £30 per month
  • The transportation cost for the bus (because I only used the bus throughout my time at NTU) came to £21 per month. I had purchased a bus card for a public bus line which cost £250 for one year and that way I got unlimited travel allowance inside Nottingham.
  • Please note! If you are live within campus accommodation but your particular accommodation flat was situated more than 6 miles away from the campus then you would receive that same bus line card for free (it will be included in the cost of the accommodation)

  • The difficulty of the course was medium to high based on different modules that we would study, the classroom had limited students making it more focused and easy to have one on one interaction with the professors.
  • The number of students in my cohort was 23 students. Mostly the group consisted of asian students and a couple of white students. We would have like 3 days of face to face lectures and 1/2 days of online webinars.

Fees

  • My course fee was £15000, but i had also received a scholarship of £3000 so had to pay only £12000 as tuition in two installments and overall living expenditure for the entire academic year added to another £12000 which was paid by family.
  • I would also work part time to pay for my everyday expenses like food/ groceries, travel, going out over the weekend and other miscellaneous expenses

  • I found my accommodation on a website called "University Living". It was pretty straightforward and they gave me a virtual viewing, making it easier for me to book it in time.
  • There are also installments in paying the accommodation fees that can ease some expenses for you during the initial days of settling in the country.
  • I was too late in finding an on-campus accommodation, as that usually opens in March for a September intake course. They are usually cheaper but you have to be quick. Always find a place through a service as they are reliable rather than going with private agents to avoid issues in a new country.

  • Well not relevant to subject which I chose. You do not get much exposure in luxury industry. You get experience and good exposure of standard international fashion management course.
  • Course has 3 Terms you have to pass in each of each term to be able to clear your final exams. Modules changes every year in each term. For me it was different module than last year. Latest module and credit score will be mentioned on official website of university under the course name.
  • Practical teaching were adobe sessions which comes in term 2 of the module. It totally depends on the module and what you choose.
  • In term 2 there are 4 modules and we have to choose any 2 and accordingly you will get to know what are your classes timings and activity and task for the chosen module.
  • Term 3 is personal project which is totally a topic you yourself choose for your final project.
  • It is not difficult to study but they mostly teach online. Practicals are there depending on module you choose but you get hardly a week time to learn. They expect professional level of learning in a week which is impossible. You get less time to prepare before you give your final submissions. So you need to make sure you work daily on whatever learning outcomes are given.
  • Online Lectures are recorded so you can visit anytime and view it if you missed any lecture.
  • Course was not helpful to build career in the chosen subject but you can always try your best.

Yes, we had industrial exposure, especially in Term 3. Our course syllabus was sketched in relevance to the latest industry trends. The coursework is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the global business environment, emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.

Fees

19000 Pounds, but I got a scholarship of 3000 pounds, which made my course fees 16000.

Overall it was good but I felt they should have added more technology-related content which is used in corporate rather than just management. And we had a project at the end of our year for real companies to solve their problems so that we have experience working with UK companies.
