  • I found my accommodation through amber platform which the UK’s recommended student accommodation provider, which helps in getting student accommodation nearby to the university. There are several other platforms as well which offer student accommodation nearby to the university.
  • The monthly rent for my accommodation is 430 pounds and it includes all bills and basic facilities in the room.
  • The challenges I faced with the accommodation were to find the one which is near to the university and also the one which is within a good budget.
  • Try to find accommodation which is near to the university and also to the city centre to get the advantage of going anywhere and finding part-time jobs nearby.
  • My accommodation is like a 12-minute walk from the university and as my university is the University of Liverpool, there is an accommodation called Prospect Point which is very famous for Indians.

  • I stayed with my husband and so I didn’t use University accommodations. We found it using open rent or Zoopla apps.
  • £650 per month excluding utility and electricity bills. Double bedroom, Open kitchen, One Bathroom not attached to bedroom. It was an apartment in Kensington area in Liverpool.
  • Basically, most of the houses prefer residents of UK to international ones. The owners accept offers from them more than they do for us. This completely depends on the owners and their perspectives and the bond they define for that property.

  • I opted for a private off campus accommodation 15mins walking from uni of liverpool. It was a true student. One of the best accommodations and has branches all over uk in every city.
  • Totally worth the price compared to on campus accompanied as they are highly priced and less amenities when compared to the off campus ones. Even all of my friends took off campus accommodation only.

  • I found my accommodation through a third party company called Amber, It was an online platform. They assigned me a person, he assisted me in picking out the rooms and the payment process accordingly. My monthly rent was around 500 GBP.
  • It was an en-suite, meaning it had an attached bathroom which was private, I did not face a lot of challenges when booking my accommodation, This was because I booked it way in advance. I would recommend future students to go with private rooms which can be rented.
  • My accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the campus. So it made the commute easy, Most of the indian students were living in my accommodation.

  • I had  opted for University Student accommodation. I found this through the official University website.
  • monthly rent was around 640 per month.
  • Just one challenge, i didn't know who my roommates were before coming here as university accommodation tries to mix people from countries to have a nice bond. But there is an option to choose for mix or single gender Clusters. All will have ensuite rooms with a common kitchen.
  • 5 mins walk to all the classes. Many Indians stay in off campus accommodations as it is cheaper, around 110-120 per week which will be less than 500 per month

  • I found my accommodation with the help of an agency. They gather your requirements, budget and preferences and accordingly suggest you some places. I would rather suggest searching an accommodation for yourself. Off-campus accommodations are way cheaper than on-campus. My accommodation was 5 mins walk from my university.
  • The monthly rent was 480 £ approximately but it was not that worth. Choose your accommodation very wisely, it will determine your entire year.

  • I did get an accommodation from the university, but it was a little more expensive, so I did find it by myself so the accommodation that I chose was a little cheaper and much more. A community wise safer for me so I selected this accommodation. It’s just a 10 minutes walk from the university, so yeah, I would recommend this accommodation for the future students as well.

  • I opted for off-campus, which was around 0.6 miles from the university. I found my accommodation through the online portal SpareRoom.
  • My monthly rent was £300 pcm, which included a gym facility and a study room.
  • While searching, it was quite stressful as every accommodation was getting sold out. So I would suggest booking accommodation really prior to 6 months before your course to get a good deal on rooms. I would say book your accommodation really early. My accommodation was quite walkable for 10-15 mins.

  • I opted for off-campus accommodation that I found through the online platform Uniacco. My monthly rent is £650, which includes all bills, making it quite expensive, as it's a studio apartment with all the necessary facilities.
  • I found the search for accommodation challenging because you have to pay a deposit upfront at the time of booking, and it can be hard to determine whether the place is legitimate.
  • To navigate this, I reached out to students who are already living there and emailed the accommodation providers directly to gather more information.
  • My accommodation is a 15-minute walk from the university. I'm attaching a video tour link of my accommodation to help other students, as I don't have any pictures.

  • I chose a student accommodation, which is around 1.5 miles from my university, but it takes around 30 to 40 minutes by walking and 30 minutes also by bus, depending upon the time of bus arrival and departure. Also, there are a lot of signals that also delay the bus, usually.
