- Infrastructure - it has a very nice infrastructure and classrooms are so nice
- Top faculty - factual is top notch and is very interactive with students take good care of them and their pressure
- Student friendly - all students interact nicely with each other because of the collaborative activities which college does
Dislikes
- More events should be there
- The only think i would add is that in between of the course there are very few events and if the events they have in start and end are there in btw as well it would be great
Campus Life
- One campus only, Christmas event Astonbury where all the artist come to perform and many more events i cant think off , was full of events; karaoke happened every friday , it was a very nice place to be in.
- A lot of activities like running padel tennis foodball , online games, happened – each and every event possible happened you can play any sport and participate in any sport
Fees
- So my course has a fee of 23500 pounds, out of which i got 6000 pounds scholarship for early acceptance and merit in class 12th, so 17500 and I took hostel william murdoch which was 8000 pounds for 1 year , i had monthly expenses of 200 pounds only, as I used to go out once a week, but people who don't cook food have 600-700 pounds.
- So you pay 4000 pounds before you go, then 4000 pounds after you reach and 4000 pounds again after 6 months, so basically it's a 3-installment process at aston.
Likes
- Course Curriculum - The curriculum is very detailed and updated. They teach and cover every aspect of your specialization.
- Professors - All the professors are very well qualified.
- Digitialization - Everything is Digitalized here. From booking an appointment with your professor to viewing your class time table, course material and even your attendance - they have software for everything.
Dislikes
- University Life - The university is right in the centre yet, it lacks to give you a university life unlike big universities such as UOB but thats not a problem because most of the universities doesnt here.
- International exposure - A big NO. I had 100% Asians in my class which includes 70% Indian and Pakistanis along with 20% from South Asia like Vietnam, Taiwan and China and 10% from Nigeria and Jamaica. But, UG programmes do have lots of Britts studying.
- Limited numbers of classes - I only had 12 class for each subject in 3 months which literally disappointed me that daid - 1 class in 1 week for 1 subject. So, if i have 4 subjects in 1 semester - i will only be having 4 classes in 1 week. Then, you are free for rest of the week.
Campus Life
- My university has 2 campuses – 1 in Birmingham and a recently opened 1 in London.
- We have all the facilities – library, sports centre with a monthly subscription of £20, student union for students to engage in any clubs or societies
- One of the major festival that took place on campus is Astonbury which is organized in the month of june (every year)
- We do have lots of extracurricular activities in the sense that there are lots of clubs and societies that keep on doing some or the other things.
- The best part is you get lots of freebies whenever there is any event like Career fest or clubs and societies week.

- Faculty - it has good faculty
- Student union(Common Area)
Dislikes
- Teachers focus on assignments only which i think doesnt add more in practical knowledge
- Lack of coordination among students - as most of them were different part so it was hard to make communication
- No free water
Campus Life
- Our university has only one campus in uk which is in birmingham.
- There were 2-3 big libraries , sports area indoor and outdoor both and full medical services were provided.

- There were clubs like indian-hub , bseen , amigos etc
- I didn't participated in any extracurricular activities .
Fees
- My full course fee was 20k pounds and it was just for the tuition fee , i dint took any hostel and anything else.

- My monthly expenses in birmingham were around 1k pounds including the rent travel and grocery and some clothes.

Campus Life
The college has one campus which is in Birmingham near the city centre. The campus has a sports facility which is well maintained and available to use for the university students along with a huge library which is available to use for studying, using computers and also for team meetings.
Likes
- Aston University’s collaborations with various industries are very strong and allow students to get job and internship opportunities.
- Students are also able to enjoy receiving professional feedback on their submission, as well as learning in the field from skilled practitioners making the academic experience more rich and practical.
- Students have sufficiently stocked libraries, among other learning facilities.
Dislikes
- Accommodations near the university or on campus might be costly and could pose a problem for foreign students. This may in turn push students either to cover a longer distance or incur a higher cost of living.
- Upon registering for the MSc Computer Science program, you noticed that elective modules such as AI, Machine Learning, Web Development, and System Design were quite few.
Campus Life
- Aston University operates a single main campus in Birmingham, equipped with facilities like a library, sports arena, and medical services.
- Key events include Aston Fest, where I took part in the reformation of the Malayali Cultural Society. We performed a cultural dance at Aston Fest 2023, celebrating diversity.
- Aston also offers various sports and student clubs, enhancing campus life with diverse extracurricular opportunities.
Fees
- The tuition fee for my MSc program at Aston University was set at £19,750, with a flexible option to pay in three installments, corresponding to each semester.
- My estimated monthly expenses, which cover essentials such as hostel accommodation, food, travel, internet, and mobile, amount to approximately £650, although this may vary depending on my spending patterns each month.

Likes
- Infrastructure & Support provided, Library, Campus and Study spaces, Student Accommodation, Ambient and Supportive Environment, . Social space
Dislikes
- The course was really difficult and the assignments were an ordeal to complete, It's an accomplishment to clear all the modules in 1 single go.
Overview
Overall experience was excellent. Had a tonne of stuff to learn. I chose this University coz its Computer Science department was among the highest-ranked in the UK. And the city was amazing.
Campus Life
The library with 3 stories with lots of studying space and provisions to borrow laptops or work on different PCs. Multiple floors had provisions for silent study where you could really concentrate and study for whatever you want and till late hours(6 am to 11 pm). Aston Student Union organised several events for the students and many interactive sessions to make them comfortable around the campus. The city centre was a 10-minute walk from the campus and the student accommodation so everything was made really convenient.
Likes
- Well known University with better fees and better course. The best part was that under a module I could convert my part time as a full time.
- Infrastructure, Library and the opportunity to convert the part time into full time. Also, there was dedicated team to review the resume and guide people in the job search.
Dislikes
- There was nothing as such to dislike but to mention I would say the food, since I struggled a lot being a vegetarian in the campus and not having much of the options.
Overview
It was good. I loved the amount of time I spent there and the experience I have got which is helping me now in the current role as well.
Campus Life
The campus has many different buildings with highly maintained equipment. One of the buildings is made so good that it gives the feeling as if you're walking in the lobby of some big company and has a great space for every individual to sit and spend their time while studying or even working.
Overview
I chose this program because I have always had an interest in photonics and wanted to further enhance my knowledge.
Fees
The fee is probably around £16000/yr.
Overview
I liked the course and the program in Artificial Intelligence as the course modules are better than many top-ranked colleges in the UK, and there are a lot of interactive lectures, and guest lectures from industry professionals on topics that are not covered in our teaching modules. So this covers most of the aspects of AI and also Aston University is in the city center of Birmingham, 2nd largest city in the UK, with lots of new opportunities developing around here, and some Big 4 companies and IT companies shifting to Birmingham.
Fees
GBP 21000 + additional for 10-month placement assistance where the university can provide an extended visa for 10 months.
Overview
One of the top business schools and ranked 3 for the business psychology course
