Likes
- Comprehensive syllabus and innovative teaching methods
- Hands - on training with real - time crime scene simulations
- Highly qualified and supportive faculty
Dislikes
- Many classes had to be conducted online due to COVID-19
- Fewer opportunities for on-campus activities and events
- No in person court room session due to Covid
Campus Life
- There were different campuses for different courses, like Forensic Science, Business School, Engineering, Pharmacy, Degree college and a few more. I really don't remember the exact count.
- We have library, Sport Facilities, Medical services, Student Union and cafes.
- I'm not into extra curricular activities so I wouldn't want to share about something I don't know much about.
Fees
- My University fee was approx. 25 lakhs (tuition fee + lab fee), Hostel fee was 6 lakhs for a year (ensuite student accommodation), and other than that, there were your usual living costs like groceries and other stuff, which differ for each individual. I spent a total of 35 lakhs for the whole year; that is including all the above-mentioned.
- Fees can be paid at your own convenience; that is, you can choose if you want to pay all at once or semester-wise. I paid it at the start itself so that I'll know how much money I could use for the rest of the things.
- It used to be 60000 per month, including rent, transportation, groceries and other regular expenses. It can fluctuate based on your lifestyle but also there are a lot of offers for students so make sure to make use of those.

Likes
- Excellent lab facilities and vibrant student life on campus.
- Dedicated career services help with interviews and Preparation of CV's after completion of your course.
- Located in the center of the city , offering travel convenience and affordability.
Dislikes
- University accommodation is for limited students , so need to find housing in the private sector.
- Some programs have very busy schedule and less flexibilty.
- Need to pay separate fees to access sport facility on the campus.
Campus Life
- The University of Strathclyde has many buildings, mainly different buildings for different departments. But all the buildings are not under one roof. So basically, the university is just scattered over a really huge area. We have 24-hour library access during exams. The library also has separate discussion rooms , which students can easily book for group study/discussion rather than making noise in the quiet parts of the library.
- Strath union is the official student association specially designated to strathclyde students. It offers a range of services , events and support systems to enhance the university experience. Strathclyde Indian Society Association (SISA) is a part of Strath union and helps indian students to enjoy every festival, same like home , but away from home, including Ganapati, diwali , Holi celebrations, Garba etc.

- Campus security and safety was top notch. Also student housing was just walking distance, most of them only few steps away.
- Had an amazing library, we had a full library with all kinds of resources.
- They had a great student body, life at Strathclyde was great.
Dislikes
- There wasn't much that I didn't like about Strathclyde
- Maybe I would have preferred more career opportunities for International students
- It would be great if we had a stronger guidance program for overseas students as it was a new job market for us
Campus Life
- Strathclyde Union is a great place to start; there are activities and events arranged on a weekly basis as well. Before each festival, be it an Indian festival or a local festival, we always had an event planned at the union and outside as well. There was a huge International student community on my campus, which welcomed us all warmly.

- My college has more than 20 buildings, which include a gym, pool, library, infirmary, a strathunion which has a cafe, bar, pool tables etc. My campus was Strathclyde Business School; there are a lot of fests and events that happen almost every day, some Chinese tea parties and another day's celebration for Africans.
- Extracurricular activities like how to make a good resume, how to apply for a job, and how to prepare for an interview, and I could go on. And at every hour there is something you just have to go and attend the seminar.

It is one of the best universities in Scotland. I used to visit the Library most often. There is loads of space available in the library. I loved the Learning and Teaching building where students can collaborate in big spaces and work on a project. The gym is paid for.

The course offered was the first of its kind. A one-year Master's program that allowed me to continue working as it was part-time and distance learning.
